The counselling rounds depends upon the number of applicants, seat availability, and more. GJUST conducts counselling rounds for BPharm until all the seats are filled. In the past, four rounds of counselling was conducted followed by two physical spot counselling for admission to the UG programmes. In 2023, GJUST BPharm cutoff was 93 for the General-All India category.
Students can qualify for lateral entry to take admission into 2nd year at GJU (Guru Jambheshwar University) provided that the first year of law degree has been done in Chhaju Ram Law College and is equivalent to the course structure of GJU. Lateral entry is usually allowed between universities with the same credits and compatibility of subjects along with previous academic status.
So, mark sheets, transfer certificates, and course procedures need to be sent to them for evaluation. If GJU allows credit transfer, then you would be granted direct admission in the 2nd year. Otherwise, you would be required to take some preparatory/validation subjects before your admission.
No, GJUST admission is entirely merit-based for B.Ed course. In case, a candidate has also passed the master’s degree examination after the bachelor’s degree, the higher percentage of marks obtained either in UG or PG degree will be taken into consideration while determining the merit. However, if two or more candidates have obtained equal marks, the following procedure will be used for the preparation of their merit.
- Candidate senior in age will be given first preference
- If tie still persists, then marks obtained in Class 12 will be considered
- If tie still persists, then marks in Class 10 will be considered to break the tie
A pass in Class 12 with at least 50% aggregate (47.5% aggregate for SC candidates for Haryana) is required to apply for GJUST BA (Hons) course. Candidates must hold the documents proving their eligibility for admission. Additionally, aspirants also need to qualify GJUST Entrance Test for admission to BA (Hons) course. The university releases a merit list announcing the names of the shortlisted candidates. Selected aspirants are further called for a counselling round.

- Library: It is spacious having the sitting capacity of 400 students and AC facility. It has more than 140,000 books and more than 6,000 bound periodicals. It also has support staff including library assistants, technicians, instructors, etc.
- Laboratories & Classrooms: There are smart classrooms at the university in order to make learning interesting and there are several laboratories available including Chemistry Lab, Computer Lab, Electronics Lab, Mechanical Lab, Physics Lab, and Central Instrumentation Lab.
- Hostels: There are eight Hostels (three for boys, four for girls and one for working women), which can house around 2150 students along with all the amenities related to residence, recreation, sports and academics. Hostel complex is under CCTV Surveillance for students' safety and security. Wi-Fi facility is available in all hostels. Common room facility with LED/TV and Newspapers is available in all hostels. Gym room well equipped with modern exercise machines. Cyber Lab with internet facility and reading hall is also available. - Sports: Sports infrastructure covers an area of 40 acres of land including Badminton Court, Basketball Court, Cricket Ground, Football Ground & Tennis Court. Sports facilities for indoor games are also being developed in Boys and Girls Hostels. Adventure Sports activities are also being conducted in various events like Skiing Course, Motor Bike Tour, Trekking, etc. The University team has participated in various games like Judo, Karate, Taekwondo, Wrestling, Yoga, Wushu, Pencak Silat, Chess, Football, Badminton, Table Tennis, Handball, Cross Country, Weightlifting, Volleyball, Cricket and Annual Athletic Meet. The university has a seat count of 60 for BPharm course admissions. Students are admitted as per the sanctioned seat intake.
