Jamia Millia Islamia offers a two-year MA programme to the stduents across more than 30 specialisations. It is a two-year programme spread over four semesters, admission to which is based on a candidate’s performance in JMI Entrance Exam. The final merit list for admission to MA at JMI is prepared on the basis of the candidate’s performance in the entrance test, seat reservation and relaxation criteria of JMI. Jamia Milia Islamia offers admission to various PG courses, including MA through CUET PG scores. Candidates seeking admission to the PG courses must have valid CUET PG scores in order to be eligible for further rounds. As per the JMI CUET PG cutoff 2024, the Round 1 cutoff scores  ranged between 23.25 and 64.75 for MSc courses. Among all the MSc courses, MSc in Mathematics is the most competitive course for the General AI category students.

The University Placement Cell of JMI has released the placement data for BTech and MCA programs. According to the report, 12 students from MCA and BTech ((CS/EE/ECE) were placed by Optum as Software Development Associates with salary package of INR 18 LPA during JMI placements 2024.

Common University Entrance Test (CUET) 2026 registration will commence in first week of March at cuet.nta.nic.in. NTA will release the CUET 2026 notification in first week of March 2026.
