Decent infrastructure, moderately good placements, scope for exposure, and ranks 29th in India.
Placements: Around 60-70% of students got placed from my course. The highest package offered is 6 LPA, and the lowest starts from 2.5 LPA. Recruiters included Johnson & Johnson, Biocon, Syngene, and others. Roles offered are assistant researcher/analyst/QA, and WC department roles.
Infrastructure: Biotechnology department has well-equipped labs, Wi-Fi, and classrooms are well-lit and sufficient to accommodate atleast 80 students at a time. We have a central library as well. Mess food is average. Canteen food is better. Medical facilities like Seesha Hospital are active 24X7, and wide range of sports are conducted like volleyball or throwball.
Faculty: Teaching has a combined blended learning of both theory and practical. Curriculum is vast and has industry exposure. Semester examinations are moderately hard. Pass percentage is 85-90% with regular effort. Teachers are highly knowledgeable and have contacts.

My experience at Karunya.
Placements: Almost everyone in my batch is placed. The average salary ranges from 3 LPA to 8 LPA. Immunologicals Limited is the top recruiting company. Only a few got internship opportunities at Syngene International, and others did internships through their hard work.
Infrastructure: The course is good. The facility is nice. The campus is good. Hostel is good. Infrastructure, food, safety, gym facilities, neat washrooms, xerox shops, cafes, supermarket, and all available inside the compound including the salon. So there is no need to go outside the campus.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful and available all the time we need. They support us in all ways. The course curriculum is the best if you are preparing for any competitive exams like GATE. Semester exam is of moderate level of difficulty, as we will be preparing for the exam from the start itself as we have 3 internals in between.

Satisfied and happy with the college life. Good college overall.
Placements: The percentage of students paced is about 20-40%. The highest package: 14 Lacs per annum; the lowest package: 3 Lacs per annum; Average Package: 4 Lacs per annum. Internships were obtained by students on their own, There is an International exchange platform whcih gets offers from multiple countries (about 4 students that I know were placed there for their internship). .
Infrastructure: Course is structured in a well constructed way. We have a ood coverage of our topics required for our career. Hostels can be a shared room for 4, 2 people and single seater AC/Non AC rooms are available. Food is great. We have sports grounds. Wi-Fi available all day.
Faculty: Teachers are well versed with their knowledge in the courses that are taught. Some faculty belongs to the top 2% of the Stanford research. The course makes students industry ready. More towards research. Exams pattern is very strict. MCQs, written, Project based learn.
Other: I chose Biotechnology because of my interest in biological sciences and innovation in healthcare, agriculture, and environment sustainability. This field offers immense opportunities to work on cutting-edge research, genetic engineering, drug development, and bioinformatics, making a real impact on society. Some of the best things about my course include well-equipped labs with advanced instruments for practical learning, hands-on research opportunities in microbiology, molecular Biology and genetic engineering, NBA accreditation ensuring a high-quality curriculum, and good faculty support with expertise in various biotech fields.

Karunya University Overall Review - (Current Student)
Placements: 1.) Many IT and tech-related companies come to the college for hiring around 70 - 80% of the class gets placed. 2.) Average CTC is anywhere around 4-6 LPA and can be as high as 30-40 LPA 3.) College provides placement training from pre-final year itself.
Infrastructure: 1.) College infrastructure is one of the best with well-equipped laboratories and a highly advanced computer technology centre. 2.) Hostels are safe and a fun place to live but are quite strict in terms of rules and regulations. 3.) The food is good and eatable on most of the days.
Faculty: 1.) Faculty are well qualified and know what they are teaching with quite a lot of experience in their subject matters. 2.) The curriculum is well-designed and has the core subjects as well as inclusive of the recent trends in the related fields. 3.) Exams are quite regular and strict in terms of assessment and the toughness of the exam.
Other: Overall I would recommend you to join the college if studies are your only focus.
