KMAT Kerala 2026 syllabus is similar to the national-level management entrance test, CAT, conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs). The KMAT Kerala syllabus depicts the important topics and subtopics that the questions in the exam will be based on. It will help the candidates prepare for the KMAT Kerala exam more effectively and efficiently as knowing the complete syllabus is an important part of the KMAT Kerala preparation. The KMAT Kerala syllabus includes topics from four topics, i.e. Quantitative Aptitude, English Language Usage and Reading Comprehension, General Knowledge and Current Affairs and Data Sufficiency and Logical Reasoning. Q:   Is KMAT Kerala syllabus difficult?
A: 

The difficulty level of KMAT Kerala syllabus is moderate as compared to other MBA entrance exams. With good preparation and focus on exam pattern, students can score well. The exam has 180 questions which are to be solved within 150 minutes. The syllabus is still moderate as compared to other exams. The most important things to keep in mind are:

  1. KMAT Kerala exam mode is online
  2. Each question carries four marks
  3. There is negative marking of minus one mark for wrong attempts

There are four sections in the KMAT Kerala exam according to the KMAT Kerala exam pattern:

All the sections in the KMAT Kerala exam have multiple choice questions and the duration of the exam is 180 minutes or three hours. Each question in every section will have four choices and the candidates have to select one correct answer according to them. 

Q:   Does KMAT-Kerala have negative marking?
A: 

Yes, the KMAT Kerala exam has negative marking. There are four sections in the KMAT Kerala exam, and each section carries about 40-50 multiple-chocie questions (MCQs). Candidates will be awarded four marks for each correct answer. One mark will be deducted from the total score for each incorrect answer marked by the candidate. There are a total of 180 questions in the KMAT Kerala question paper and the total marks is 720.
