The KMAT Kerala exam is conducted twice a year for the convenience of the candidates. KMAT Kerala results 2023 have been announced on March 13, 2023, for the first cycle exam. The cut-off marks for KMAT Kerala 2023 are available after the results have been released. The minimum cut-off marks are 72 for General and SEBC; and 54 for SC/ST candidates. Candidates who have scored as much or above the minimum cut-off marks can apply to colleges accepting KMAT Kerala scores for admission to its MBA programmes.

These cut off marks are uniform for all the institutes and colleges accepting KMAT Kerala 2023 scores. However, that is not the case with students from different categories. The minimum cut off mark is different for different category students.

The cutoff marks for final admissions will be in a ratio of 80:10:10 for the entrance exam, Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview.

Q: What is KMAT Kerala cut off?

A: KMAT cut off refers to the minimum percentile required by a candidate to score in order to get shortlisted for the further selection process for admission to various B-schools. 

Q: Does only one institute release the KMAT Kerala cut off?

A: No, every participating institute releases its own KMAT Kerala cut off. Candidates who meet these cut-offs are called for the selection process.

Q: When will KMAT Kerala 2023 cut-offs be released?

A: KMAT Kerala 2023 cut-offs will be released by the participating institutes soon after the KMAT Kerala result announcement. Now that the final KMAT Kerala results have been announced, the cutoff will also be released soon. 

Q: Will I get admission to the institutes if I meet the KMAT Kerala cut-off?

A: No, only meeting the cut off does not guarantee admission to a KMAT Kerala participating institute. The candidate needs to clear the GD-PI rounds too, in order to secure admission in a B-school.

Q: Are the KMAT Kerala cut-offs the same for every student?

A: No. The KMAT Kerala cut-offs vary for each category. The cut off for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories is lower than that for general category candidates.

A: General/ SEBC candidates need to secure 10 % of the total 720 marks, i.e., 72 marks and above to qualify KMAT Kerala. For SC/ST/PWD category, the qualifying cut off mark is 7.5 % of 720 marks, i.e., 54 marks.
