LPU MBA admissions 2026 are open. Students can apply now. Check below to know more:
- The slot booking for Type B (MBA) will start from Feb 5, 2026.
- The LPUNEST (remotely proctored exam) will be conducted from Dec 15, 2025 to Feb 5, 2026.The test center-based exam will be held from Jan 20 to Feb 5, 2026.
- The last date for MBA admission is Feb 20, 2026.
- The XAT 2026 result has been released on the official portal for the MBA/PGDM course. Students have to log in to the official exam portal to access and download their scorecard.
- The CUET PG 2026 exam schedule has been announced for the MBA/PGDM course. The exam will be conducted between Mar 6 and Mar 27, 2026.
- The CMAT 2026 result for the MBA/PGDM course is now available on the official website.
- The CAT 2026 registration window is expected to open in Aug 2026, for the MBA course.
- The registration for the Feb session of MAT 2026 for the PBT mode is now closed, with the test scheduled to take place on Mar 1, 2026, for the MBA course. Also, for the CBT mode, Mar 2, 2026, is the last date to register, and the test will be conducted on Mar 8, 2026.
LPU MBA Eligibility & Highlights 2026
Lovely Professional Universitgy MBA is a two-year course divided into semester pattern. It is offered in different specialisations along with an integrated BBA + MBA course. The PG course is available in online and distance mode as well through the LPU Centre for Distance & Online Education. Candidates interested in taking admission can check below the LPU MBA eligibility criteria:
Eligibility Criteria:
- A pass in graduation with at least 55% aggregate or completed Company Secretary (CS) from ICSI or CA from ICAI or Cost & Management Accountancy from ICAI is required to apply for LPU MBA course.
- BTech/ BE (any discipline)/ BSc (PCM)/ BSc (Maths)/ BA (Economics/ Math/ Statistics)/ BCom / BBA / BCA degree with at least 55% aggregate is required to apply for MBA Business Analytics.
NOTE: 5% to North-East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/Wards of Kashmiri Migrants.

LPU MBA Admission Dates 2026
LPU admission generally begins in January every year. Lovely Professional University conducts the National Entrance and Scholarship Test for admission to its various courses. It is conducted online every year for admission to more than 150 programmes. Lovely Professional University accepts LPUNEST/ LPUNEST/ MAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ NMAT scores for admission to the MBA course. During the LPU CAT cutoff 2024, the overall CAT percentile was 70 for the General All India category candidates. LPU CAT percentile remain constant from the last three years. So, considering the past three years cutoff percentile, LPU CAT 2025 percentile is also expected to ranged between 70 to 75 for General category.
LPU offers admission to MBA based on LPUNEST, CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT or NMAT score of the candidates followed by GDPI. Candidates must pass graduation with at least 55% aggregate or completed CS from the ICSI or CA from the ICAI or CMA from ICAI to apply for LPU MBA course. After completion of the selection rounds, candidates need to pay a fee to confirm their seat. The total fee for LPU MBA course ranges between INR 1.60 lakh and INR 10 lakh. LPU MBA Application Process 2026
Go to the official website of LPU and click on the ' Apply Now' tab at the top of the web page.
Register on the official admission portal of LPU i.e. LPUADMIT (admission.lpu.in) with basic details such as name, email-id, mobile no., state, gender and password). The email ID used during registration will act as the username for the portal and the password needs to be set by the candidate while registering. Candidates can continue to apply for LPUNEST (for scholarship purposes).

Pay the application fee and hit the submit button to complete the application process.

Slot Booking
This step is applicable only to the candidates appearing for LPU NEST. In LPUNEST slot booking, students need to select an exam date and a shift for appearing in the exam. There are two ways to book the slot that are slot booking by the candidate and slot booking by the authorities of Lovely Professional University.
Selection Rounds
The university conducts LPUNEST to shortlist candidates for MBA admission. LPU also accepts national-level entrance exams like CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ CMAT for shortlisting students for MBA courses. The selected candidates are further called for group discussion and personal interview rounds.

CAT is one of the accepting exams for admission to MBA course of LPU. Th university conducts LPUNEST Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship Test for admission to MBA course. It is conducted in online mode every year. The test acts as an Entrance Test as well as Scholarship Test. The amount of scholarship is determined by the marks and rank obtained by candidates in the exam. LPUNEST is a 2.5 hours exam including 125 questions. Apart from LPUNEST, the university also accepts MAT, XAT and other Management entrance exam scores for admission. The shortlisted candidates are further called for GDPI round.
LPU MBA Cutoff
LPU MBA cutoff list is made as per the candidates performance in the accepted exams. A cutoff list can be released for each of the accepted exams.
