NIT Rourkela is a fantastic college.

Placements: About 24 students out of 1200 from our course got placed this year. It's difficult to estimate an average on job packages as many students opt for a PhD after completing the course. But the average salary package offered ranges from 8-9. Last year, one of our branch students from the 5th year got the highest salary package of 28 LPA by Goldman Sachs. Many reputed banking and software companies like Goldman Sachs, Google, etc., visit our college to recruit students. Coaching institutes all over ...

Everything is good about the institution.

Placements: Placement is good in Integrated M.Sc course students opt for higher education. All are allowed to sit on-campus placement. Tech companies are also allowed to sit in the placement. The highest package is 30 LPA and the average package is 8-9 LPA. Aakash, Byjus, Infosys, Amazon, Microsoft, Google, etc., visit for placements.

The college has very good infrastructure, facilities and food placement scenario overall.

Placements: About 50% of the students get placed every year in our branch. The highest salary package offered is 22 LPA, and the average salary package offered would be around 5.4 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course include all the coaching institutes from Kotak and its branches, Oracle, TCS, Infosys, Goldman Sachs, Quantiphi and a few others.

It has a good campus to focus on studies or other extracurricular activities.

Placements: Our college provides good placements. About 70% of the students get placed from college. The average salary package offered was 8 LPA. A few students also get jobs from the places they have done internships. As always, the IT companies have the highest recruits along with core companies.

Infrastructure: We have all the facilities needed for a classroom. We have the LAN internet which provides all of the materials required for a course along with other stuff. The LAN also provides the internet for a specific time...

Candidate must have completed 10+2 with mandatory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects from a recognized board. Intermediate or two-year Pre-University examination conducted by a recognized Board/ University. Final examination of the two-year course of the Joint Services Wing of the National Defense Academy. Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Institute of Open Schooling with a minimum of five subjects. Any Public School/ Board/ University examination in India or in any foreign country recognized as equivalent to the 10+2 system by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). The candidates who have passed XII examination in 2017, 2018 or appearing in 2019 irrespective of their age can appear in JEE(Main) examination – 2019
