There is no air conditioning in the classrooms, but placements are decent.
Placements: The college has a very good placement history, with approximately 95 percent of students getting placed through college placements. Companies like Cognizant and The Circle also offer very good placements with salaries of 1–2 lakhs per month. These companies also provide very good internship opportunities with packages of 2 LPA.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi and other IT services are provided very smoothly here. Labs and classrooms are well-decorated and good, but there is no air conditioning in the classrooms, which is a serious concern in summers. The quality of food provided in the mess is also not very good, but non-veg food options are better.
Faculty: Teachers here are well-qualified and experienced. They completed their degrees from IITs, NITs, IIITs, etc. They are also helpful and available when you need them. Semester exams consist of mid-semester exams, end-semester exams, and internals, which account for 30%, 50%, and 20%, respectively.

Small but nice college to enter into .
Placements: This year was a recession year but still, our college made 70% on campus placements, where most colleges were finding it difficult to bring companies to their campuses. Many top companies came to our campus for recruitment. The highest package this year was 27 LPAs on campus and 60 LPAs off campus. The average package was about 9 LPA overall (in this recessionary year). 60% of students got internships. And also, 4–5 students got the PPO.
Infrastructure: The campus is well-equipped with all the modern lab wi-fi facilities (speed around 30–40 mbps), and there is one central library and a reading room that is fully air-conditioned. Yes, the campus is small (25 acres) but you will never feel crowded due to the low intake of students. There are spacious hostel rooms and a lift facility with an aquaguard on every alternative floor. There is one restaurant and an all-purpose general store. Various sports opportunities are also there.
Faculty: The teachers here are scholars, and they all excel in their fields. Teaching quality was okay but, as you all know, engineers have to study themselves only. But the teachers are really supportive. You can ask any doubt to them. The course curriculum is relevant, leaving some first-year subjects useless (engineering drawing and workshop). But after studying your curriculum, you will be able to at least get a job. Rest; it all depends on your hard work. Semester exams are quite difficult. Pass percentage is 70%. .
Other: I chose this course because I was interested in it and also because I was getting the best branch according to my JEE rank. The best thing is that I can appear for the GATE exam and pursue higher studies. Also, it has a lot of opportunities in the government sector. The environment at the college is very good. The crowd is good and competitive and no ragging is seen on the campus. Lots of events take place on campus and a great annual festival, i.e., ADVAITA, is there, which is famous in all of Odisha.

A college having good placements but is small in size- IIIT BHUBANESWAR .
Placements: Placement in our college is pretty good. Most of the students are placed with decent packages at various companies. Last year, the highest package was offered to a student in the CSE branch with around 37 lacs. The lowest package was around 3–4 lacs. Many companies come here, like Media.net, TCS, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is fine. Not very fancy or hi-tech, but yes, the required things are there. Sports facilities are not here much. There are limited resources. Mess food is not that good but yes, one can eat it to survive. The hostel facilities are not that good but yes, it is fine; we can adjust. The Wi-Fi here is very nice. The labs are also nice.
Faculty: The faculty is very nice here. The faculty are highly qualified and make us understand everything very nicely. Semester exams are moderate to difficult. Pass percentage is pretty good. Though some people get back, most of them clear it. The curriculum is made properly, though there should be improvement in it.
Other: The campus is small, not that big compared to other colleges. The annual fest named Advaita happens around February and March.

Best college for placement in Odisha.
Placements: This is the best college in Odisha for placements. It brings many companies, around 70 companies for the students. All the branches can sit for the placements for every company. The minimum package is 6.5 LPA, maximum is 42.5 LPA and average is 18 LPA.
Infrastructure: It has a good campus with plants all around and an open space. Classrooms are big enough with good lighting. The Wi-Fi facilities and labs are well facilitated. It has very good infrastructure as well as maintained playgrounds. The worst thing here is only the mess. Rest all is good.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful as well as well educated. They have rich teaching quality and the questions that they set show what IIIT is known for. Scoring here is a tough job but if you study then you will feel it to be a joke. It has an excellent curriculum which exposes every student to a wide variety of domains.
Other: Everything is good but the management in extracurricular activities should be maintained properly. The mess is also a point where many loop holes need to be taken care of.

Placements are improving every day here.
Placements: Placements are good as compared to the previous year. New companies are visiting every year to hire students. The average salary package offered ranges from 6 LPA - 7 LPA. Around 90% of students got placed in this course. The highest salary package offered was 21 LPA.
Infrastructure: In our college, the infrastructure is average. Our campus is small. Hostel life is also average. The food served in the mess is average. We also have mess committee members who are trying to improve food. Wi-Fi speed varies from one place to another. Mobile internet speed is not good due to heavy network traffic. Medical facilities are not good. We also have a hospital in case of any health issues.
Faculty: Our course curriculum is not relevant. You have to learn industry-ready skills on your own if you want to survive this competitive era especially if you are in a core field i.e., electronics. However, our course curriculum is changing every day.
Other: I opted for this course because of my interest in it.

I would recommend joining this college.
Placements: IIIT-BH is known for its placements in Odisha. Recently, there has been a hike in placement percentage as most of it has taken place in online mode. Each and every student gets at least one offer. The top recruiters include Infosys, and this year there has been a placement with a salary package of 80 LPA in Silicon Valley.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is well planned, but the maintenance is scarce. The security is good. The Wi-Fi provision is manageable but not up to the mark. The library is huge and has a variety of needed resources, with a great reading room as well. The food provision includes mess and canteen facilities, which can be rated as average.
Faculty: The teachers at our college are highly qualified and supportive. Most of them are quite devoted to their jobs. The course is mostly theoretical and needs a lot of add-ons to be industry-ready. Semester exams are pretty difficult with relatively little marking. The average score of our college is 8.5 CGPA, which is a very good score.

It is the best, the brand name is enough for new commers.
Placements: Above 85% of students are placed. The highest salary package is 15 LPAand the lowest salary is 6 LPA. Companies like TCS, Capgemini, Samsung, Mind tree, etc. About 70% of students got an internship in many companies like Mind fire and Samsung. The top roles offered are software engineers, software architects, etc.
Infrastructure: All facilities are available like Wi-Fi, elevators in hostels, air-conditioned labs, playgrounds like tennis court, basketball court, cricket ground, and a common room for table tennis, and television entertainment. Medical facilities are available 24x7, food in a hostel is good not very good. One has to manage a little bit.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Courses make the student's industry ready. Exams are a little difficult so no pain no gain. One has to study well. The internal exams are easy and mark fetching but during the semesters one has to do hard work.
Other: Electrical and Electronics engineering is a branch both for software and technical job. The practical for the subjects should be improved. Every 6 months fests and events are organised, quiz, cricket, volleyball, football tournaments are organised,etc.

Placements: IIIT-Bhubaneswar established by government of Odisha has achieved 91% placements in the 2019-2020 academic year. Around 26 companies including McKenzie, visa, Microsoft, Amazon and Dell had visited the campus for recruitment. The maximum package offered was 41 Lacs and the passed outs have been offered appointment on an average scale of 4.85 Lacs.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, Labs, classrooms, library available 24*7. Single rooms are also available with excellent infrastructure. Lift facility is available everywhere including hostels (as hostels are having 9 floors). Officially the college has two mess. Food court is also available. The quality of food is nice. Medical facilities are available 24*7 with a senior doctor. The college has cricket fields, badminton courts, tennis courts, football fields, basketball ball court as well. Gym facility and music jam room also available. Facilities like laundry, television, table tennis, carrom is available. New hostels are extremely good. It looks like a hotel room having individual washroom and balcony.
Faculty: Most of the teachers have done their M.Tech and PhDs from renowned IITs, IISCS, and NITs. Faculty members are from different states. The labs are associated with technology parks. Research programs are ongoing. IIIT Bhubaneswar handles the official IT department of Odisha (for example cyber security programs). The faculty members are very friendly and student- faculty interaction is very well due to the less number of students in a batch (batch strength is limited to 300).
Other: The college organises Odisha's best techno- cultural fest called Advaita. Students from different college come and participate in various competitions. The cultural events organised by the college is at another level. It is associated with sunburn ( now you can guess at what level it organises the events).
