Punjab University BA application forms are out on the University's official website for the academic year 2024 and candidates seeking admission to the programme must fill out the detailed application form and must provide personal, guardian and, educational details, upload all the necessary documents and, pay the application fees. The application form can also be filled in the offline mode.

Candidates seeking admission to the BA or BA (Hons) course at Panjab University must have an aggregate of up to 60% in Class 12. This is the minimum aggregate that is needed to pursue BA (Hons) in Economics or BA (Hons) from the campus of PU. Also, for other PU-affiliated colleges offering numerous other specialisations, the requirement might also vary. The last date for UG application at Panjab University 26 June which started on June 2. Candidates selected after all the course-specific selection rounds are required to confirm their admission by paying the admission fee between July 21 and Aug 7.  For a few courses, such as MA, BA, MLib, etc., admissions are completely based on merit in the last qualifying examination. Students must go through the Panjab University CHD-conducted/ national-level entrances and then appear for the university-level selection rounds for final admission at Panjab University.

Panjab University also gives UG courses, Postgraduate and Doctoral courses all in full-time basis. The University provides courses of BSc, BTech, BA, MA, MSc, MTech, and PhD programs including Business and Management Studies, Accounting and Commerce, Arts (Fine/ Visual/ Performing), Design, Engineering, Humanities and Social Sciences etc. The University has the courses which last between 20 days and 5 years. In addition, the fee structure of the Panjab University has such tuition fees that range between INR 160 to INR 17.6 Lakh. In conclusion, the University provides classes in a very low cost.

Yes, Punjab University does offer Scholarships for ST/SC category. The scholarship are offered keeping the following criteria in consideration:

• Those Students belonging to OBCs so specified in relation to the state/Union Terrritory to which the applicant actually belongs, i.e. is permanently settled, who have passed the Matriculation
• Students who have secured minimum 50% or equivalent grade
• Students belonging to Scheduled Caste and special grants to girls belonging to Scheduled Castes.
