Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) - Batch of 2025
Offered by Goswami Ganesh Dutta S.D. College
4.0
It's totally not perfect, but it is very good.
Placements: Ye placement are there but not as much. Means are soo course they give placement la but like my course B.A. howner in physical education. That case no placement is given by the fatility and college. They have some changes of placement. But totally depend on your college performance.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are good. They are well maintained. I give it 4 because of the cost, it's not as much for middle-class people, it's very huge. It's affordable for the above middle class. An AC facility is also there. Rules and regulations are also strict, and food quality is good, so it's fine. Students come from Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, and other states. So you can interact with very different people.
Faculty: Exams are conducted properly. There are cameras to monitor the students. Examinations are conducted honestly and in a good manner. There’s no chance to cheat. The college faculty is very well mentioned. Teachers are also fair for the examination. No discrimination for students and all.
Other: My college is famous for its friends and girls. Campus life is totally perfect. But the campus is so small.

Bachelor of Law (LL.B.) - Batch of 2025
Offered by Panjab University Regional Centre, Muktsar
4.2
A very good college for studies in a good manner.
Placements: Well-educated professionals in law college require 99.9% for law, but our college's higher percentage of admissions should be 99.9% and lower 80%. After this course, students can choose LL.M. and undertake internships for future development. The college is helpful for all the requirements of students.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available for teachers and students. Labs are available, smart classrooms, neat and clean conditions of the campus, and the library gives students extra knowledge. Good quality food in the canteen is also available on campus, and medical facilities are offered. They also focus on sports.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and helpful in nature; they help to understand every topic easily and in practical ways. The teaching quality is very good, it makes students ready for the industry. Teachers share their experience in professions. Exams are according to the syllabus, and passing marks are casual.
Other: I chose this study course to help the nation by becoming an advocate. I want to help poor people. In college, every occasion is celebrated, events are organized, and scholarships are also provided.

M.A. in Ancient Indian History, Culture and Archeology - Batch of 2026
2.6
The faculty is good, but the university doesn't value the department.
Placements: You don't get any placement directly, it totally depends on you and how you can make a good relationship with scholars and the head of this subject with the help of the department. No internship opportunities are provided by the department, it all depends on your communication skills.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are okay, 1 equipped with air conditioning. Library facilities are available along with books. Hostels are okay again, but the food is good eatable, mostly all things are provided in the rooms, which are necessary. The campus is good in terms of greenery and calmness, but outsiders have recently destroyed the campus culture.
Faculty: Faculty is good and very helpful (the only positive thing about the department), but it needs more recruitment. Curriculum theory-wise is okay, but there is a need for more practical and fieldwork, which is important for the field. Exam charges are high in lieu of the infrastructure provided.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to, but in this university, this course isn't valued that much, so I want others to avoid this unless you don't want to waste a year.

You are basically on your own but work hard to get somewhere.
Placements: The cutoff in the entrance test goes pretty high like a minimum of 70-75 marks so if 50 percent merit is based on 12th boards percentage you should ideally get 90 percent and above to be in the race especially if you are in the general category. No packages are offered because no companies come to UILS. Judiciary culture is more prominent here. Students however seek internships on their own or on rare occasions. CDC cell helps out to get internships in government organisations like SHRC and DLSA.
Infrastructure: The college building is under construction right now as well so we cannot say that the infrastructure is fully developed. Some hostels are very old so the infrastructure is accordingly but some hostels 5 and onwards are really good. Especially international and hostel numbers 8, 9, and 10 in South Campus are really good. Mess canteen food varies with hostel 6 being the best. The rest of the sports and games facilities are average.
Faculty: Teachers in progressive years are super knowledgeable and qualified. Especially in the 4th and 5th year if UILS lacks in infrastructure, it doesn't in the course curriculum or the teachers. If one puts in the work they will leave after learning a lot. Semester exams however are not that difficult it is easy to pass and you must attain atleast 45 marks out of 100 in each subject to pass.

Good for research and studies, but average for jobs and internships.
Placements: At PGGC 11, around 40–50% of B.Sc. Computer Science students who look for jobs get placed. The average package ranges from 3.1–5 LPA, and it can go up to 10 LPA. Companies like TCS and Wipro regularly hire students. Around half of the batch also gets internships in local companies as software trainees.
Infrastructure: College has labs, classrooms, and a library, but there is no Wi-Fi. I am a day scholar, so I do not know much about hostels. But I have heard they are decent and affordable. Canteen and sports facilities are also available. I do not know much about the medical facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are good and polite. The teaching quality is quite good as they adapt technology according to changing times. However, the course is mostly theory-based. Exams are moderate to tough, and the passing percentage in each subject is 40%.

Improving my Alma Mater through the right critique.
Placements: In my course there were no placements organised for us, no internships, nothing. Though in other professional degrees there was organisation of practical and a few internships but overall the situation of placements was not at all good in our college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was average as the accessibility to the internet and Wi-Fi was not available. The cleanliness of canteens was also okay but not up to mark. Then the classrooms did not have proper ceiling fans and classrooms were always running out of chalk and other essentials.
Faculty: There was no doubt that the faculty was excellent and provided as much help as we asked for. All were very helpful and maintained good relations with students. The lectures were informative and aimed at knowledge enhancement. The teachers were learned.
Other: I believe that I chose the course so as to give impetus to my further career in the Civil Services exams that I was aspiring to give. I also believe that colleges should be providing more incentives and scholarships for the students who I feel are lacking.

I would recommend joining this college.
Placements: Around 30–40% of students get placed in this course. There are 60 students in each section. The minimum salary package offered is 3 LPA. Most reputed companies visit the college for recruitment. Students with a decent academic background get good placements.
Infrastructure: Facilities provided by the college, such as the library and classrooms, are very good. Classrooms are excellent due to the newly built department building. Students study peacefully in the library without disturbance and can borrow books whenever they want. Hostel rooms are good, and the mess food is also decent. The hostel also has a gym with decent equipment.
Faculty: Teachers in the college are very helpful, good, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality depends on teacher, but overall, faculty is very good. The course curriculum is relevant and provides good exposure to students. Exams are not very difficult.
Other: Extracurricular activities are decent. Scholarships are also provided in college.

There is a mandatory 6-month internship for everyone. The starting role offered is nursing officer, and students are taught everything here.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are shabby and need improvement. We're provided with air-conditioned rooms, drinking water, smart boards, labs, practical mannequins, apparatus, etc. I am not a hosteller, so I do not know about hostels. There is a library as well, which provides us with all sorts of books.
Faculty: Some faculty members are amazing. The new teachers are still getting accustomed.
Other: Various events are organised throughout the year. There is an annual event called Pulsatio, where students join in to make this fest successful. There are sports events as well, where students from all courses participate together and compete.
