RGPV BTech Courses & Fees 2025: Admission, Eligibility, Placements

RGPV BTech admission is entrance-based. To secure admission to the BTech course, applicants must qualify for all the selection parameters. Firstly, they must submit their application and proceed further. Before applying have a basic knowledge of the BTech programme. Step 1: RGPV BTech application process 2025

The RGPV application process is conducted online through the official website of the University. Candidates have to register for DTE MP Counselling by visiting its official website. Applicants must also upload the relevant documents and application fee in the prescribed format. Below mentioned is the step-wise RGPV application process:

Step 1.1: Visit the official website of counselling.

Step 1.2: Select a course and register yourself.

Step 1.3: Verify your email id or mobile number by entering the OTP received at your email id or mobile number.

Step 1.4: Login using your email id and password.

Step 1.5: Fill out the application form by entering the required details.

Step 1.6: Upload a passport-size photograph and scanned copy of the qualifying exam marksheet.

Step 1.7: Pay the application fee online via debit/ credit cards or net banking.

Note: Candidates can also pay the application fee offline via Demand Draft (DD).

Step 2: Selection Rounds

For RGPV BTech admissions, candidates have to qualify for the JEE Main entrance exam. Candidates will be shortlisted based on their past academic records and scores obtained in the JEE Main entrance exam.

Step 3: Counselling Process

Once the selection rounds are done, candidates who qualify for the entrance exam have to apply for DTE MP Counselling process for the final seat allotment. After the release of the final merit lists, candidates have to visit the university's admission office in person for document verification.

Step 4: Merit List

After the commencement of the counselling process, the final list of the selected candidates is released on the official website of SIRT Bhopal. The list is prepared after assessing candidates' performance and records.

Step 5: Final Admission

At last, the selected candidates need to submit their original documents for verification. Further, they must also pay a certain amount of RGPV BTech fees and complete other admission formalities to confirm their seats.

RGPV offers scholarships under various categories to its meritorious students. The scholarships are provided in the following categories:

• Students who come from the SC/ ST/ OBC quota are eligible to get a scholarship if they secure a 75% in their Class 12
• Students from minority communities are eligible to avail of a scholarship if they secure a 75% in their Class 12.
• Students from an economically low background are eligible for a scholarship from the university
• Students whose parent serves/ has served in the military are also eligible for a scholarship
• The University sponsors a scholarship under the Sports quota and also students who fall under the category of physically handicapped
