SRM Institute of Science and Technology MTech Courses & Fees 2026: Admission Dates & Eligibility

MTech is a two-year course divided into four semesters. SRM Institute of Technology Kattankulathur offers M.Tech in full-time mode in 27 specialisations and part-time in nine specialisations. The deemed-to-be university accepts GATE score for M.Tech admission. However, aspirants who have not qualified GATE can also get admission to M.Tech course by qualifying SRMJEEE (PG) conducted by the university. SRM will conduct SRMJEEE in two phases. After the completion of the selection rounds, aspirants need to attend the counselling and document verification round. Only after the payment of course fee, admission is confirmed in the university.

As per the eligibility criteria, aspirants must pass bachelor's degree in relevant subjects with at least 50% aggregate to apply for the M.Tech course. The university considers the eligibility and GATE score for providing admission.
