Absolutely satisfied because of campus life.

Placements: Placements at Thapar University is top-notch. I was in the electrical branch so in my branch round, 90% of the students who sat for placements. In the computer science branch, 100% of the students who sat for placements. The highest package offered to electrical students was around 32 LPA by Optum. The lowest was around 5 LPA and average had to be 9 LPA. Top recruiting companies were Optum, American Express, Blackrock, ZS Associate, Bajaj, Nestled, Maruti, Deloitte, etc. Almost 80% of students from the electrical branch got internships on campus, and the rest, 20%, either opted for a project semester on campus itself or an off-campus internship. The top roles offered were analyst, software engineer, electrical engineer, trainee, etc.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure at Thapar was top-class. From classrooms to hostels, everything was just amazing. Wi-Fi was enabled in the whole campus out there. The college has amazing library in a 5-story building equipped with group discussion rooms, washrooms, and Wi-Fi-enabled centrally air-conditioned rooms. The hostels were also very good having tv rooms, night canteen, gym room, reading room, etc. The mess food was amazing and very hygienic, with a variety of options serving as buffet system.

Faculty: The teachers were really helpful and well qualified, either completing their Ph.D. or have already completed their Ph.D. The teaching quality depend on the teacher but overall, I can say it was above average. And yes, the course curriculum is relevant to the industry standards. There were mid-semester exams and end-semester exams, and they were of a moderately difficult level. If the student has attended the lectures and is disciplined enough, he/she will easily go through the college exams.

Other: The campus life at Thapar is legit wow. Like whatever a student dreams in his/her college life, Thapar offers everything, which includes fests, events, personal development through societies, etc.

Our college provides the best infrastructure and placements.

Placements: The CSE department has a good placement ratio. The average salary package offered in our course is 6 LPA. Only a few core companies visit our college. Many IT companies visit our college. Some students are preparing for electrical core companies, and some are preparing for finance and management-based jobs. If students prepare well, they will get good salary packages.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is the best. We get free Wi-Fi throughout the campus, including cafeterias, academic blocks, and hostels. Our college has many labs with adequate resources. Many classrooms are air-conditioned. We have a multi-floored library which has abundant books. It is very large. We have many cafeterias and canteens throughout the campus. Around two students can share each hostel room. Each room has a washroom, an air conditioner, etc. The hostel has 4 elevators. It has 8 floors. Various types of hostels are available in our college. Our college provides 1 seater, 2 seater, and 3 seater rooms. There are two separate messes. They provide very good food. We have a dispensary inside our campus, which is open during the night. We have separate grounds, badminton courts, volleyball courts, basketball courts, and table tennis courts. Our college provides proper accommodations for games. We have a swimming pool.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful. Most of them are Ph.D. holders. The teaching quality is good. They teach us digitally. Our college makes students industry-ready. It offers many courses apart from the main course, which involves humanities, professional communication, and entrepreneurship, which help in the overall development of students. Semester exams are difficult. Our teachers teach us in-depth, so exams are good. The pass percentage is around 75-80%.

Other: I chose this course because of my interest in electrical engineering. This course offers a variety of jobs in private and core sectors. Our college conducts events throughout the year. It has many societies like a dance society, a drama society, a music society, a technical society, a finance society, a women empowering society, etc. The campus is in the main city, so all facilities are available. Our college provides scholarships to merit students.

Our college has good infrastructure.

Placements: More than 85% of students got placed in our branch. The highest salary package offered is 17 LPA. The average salary package offered is above 7 LPA. Almost 50% of students got internships in their 3rd year. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Apple, Telecom, etc. Our college provides good placements.

Infrastructure: Our college provides the best facilities. All facilities are well-maintained. Our college has one of the best libraries. It has more than 2,00,000 books. The food served in the mess is average. Many grounds are available for sports.

Faculty: Many faculty members are from IITs. Around 90% of faculty members are Ph.D. holders. They are very helpful. Semester exams are difficult, you have to study daily if you want to score a high CGPA in exams. They conduct many exams like EST, MST, sessional, etc.

Placements: Thapar Institute Engineering and technology provides its students a very good platform to reach the companies. Not only that, here at Thapar they also prepare you for the interviews and the exams for the respective companies. The guidance for the placements is to the fullest.

Infrastructure: The course here is designed in such a way that students never feel burdened and are always stress free. Now let's talk about the hostels, the hostels here are very spacious and luxurious with all the amenities like hot water, Wi-Fi, clean toilets and many more. The food in the mess is okay but very nutritious.

Faculty: The teachers at Thapar are very knowledgeable and helpful, inside and outside the classroom. The course is fine, but I think the curriculum is outdated and can be improved according to the industry standards. The semester exams are quite competitive and tests our knowledge to the fullest.

Placements: There are 26 students in each class. The salary package offered is 2.5 LPA to 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies like American Express, Accenture, EXL, Deloitte, etc., visit our campus. Many students get internships and FTE opportunities.

Infrastructure: The campus is beautiful. It has many cafeterias in different areas. Every year, around 2000 students enroll, and the number is growing. The hostel infrastructure is quite good. The total area of the campus is 2500 acres.

Faculty: Our faculty members are well-educated. The student-to-teacher ratio is good. There are around 26 students in each lab batch and around 120 students in the lecture batch. The study material is provided by teachers via email. The pass percentage is 35%.

Other: I chose this course because the placement data was good and the average salary package offered was high. Several events are held in college, including college festivals and events hosted by various societies of the college.
