The UNIPUNE MH CET Cutoff 2025 was released for all rounds and categories belonging to the Home State and the All India quota. According to the MH CET Cutoff 2025, the cutoff ranged from 40.05 score in the first round closing cutoff to 99.32, according to the last round closing score for the General AI category.

Solid academics and decent tech placements, but campus life in Talegaon is quiet.
Placements: Since we just entered our final year, this reflects the senior batch. Around 75 percent of Computer Science students got placed. The highest package is 12 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA, and the average is 4.5 LPA. Top recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, and Pune-based startups. About 40 percent of seniors secured internships, mostly off-campus. Top roles offered are Software Development Engineer, System Analyst, and Data Engineer. Placements are solid if you have good fundamentals.
Infrastructure: The Varale, Talegaon Dabhade campus infrastructure is decent. We have well-equipped computer labs with reliable Wi-Fi, which is essential for our coding assignments. Classrooms are spacious, and the library has good technical resources. Hostel facilities are standard. The rooms are fine, though mess food is just average and gets repetitive. We have a basic medical room for emergencies. The sports ground is good for playing cricket and badminton after classes.
Faculty: Faculty members are approachable and knowledgeable in foundation programming and data structures. Teaching quality is satisfactory, blending theory with lab sessions. The Pune University curriculum covers core concepts but requires independent self-study to become truly industry-ready for placements. Semester exams are moderately difficult. If you clear your concepts and study previous papers, passing is easy. The pass percentage is consistently around 85-90 percent.
Other: I chose this course out of a passion for software development. The best part is peer learning and strong computing fundamentals. I wish the curriculum included more modern tech stacks. The crowd is friendly and career-focused. We enjoy our annual technical and cultural fests. Connectivity is decent, though the Talegaon area is quite peaceful and away from Pune's main city hustle.

Placements: Placement was good at the college. Our college had a dedicated placement cell. It was actively involved in organizing on-campus placement drives and inviting multiple companies to provide students with enough job opportunities. Many job opportunities were provided, and proper training was also given. Companies like P&G, ICICI, HDFC, Tata, and TCS visited the campus to recruit MBA students. The average package offered by the college was 5–6 LPA, while the highest package was 22 LPA. Companies conducted interviews and group discussions (GD) for the selection of students. Internships were also provided by the college.
Infrastructure: The hostel was very good with standard facilities and was protected with CCTV cameras. Every student had their own bed, study table, and wardrobe. 24/7 water supply and drinking water were available. Mess food was available on campus with good quality and hygienic meals at reasonable charges.
Faculty: Faculty of this college was really good. All were experienced in their respective fields. All faculty members had industry experience. Faculty communication and teaching skills were good. They made sure students gained a deep understanding of concepts. They were very friendly and helpful. They were always ready to clear doubts whenever students approached them. Semester examination system was followed, where we had an end-semester exam of 70 marks every six months. In between, we had mid semester exams of 20 marks each. Marks were also allotted for assignments and attendance. Overall difficulty level of the exams was moderate. Course curriculum focused on the holistic development of students. We learned theoretical concepts of Finance, Marketing, and HR along with their practical implementation through various projects. It was a good course that provided industry knowledge. It helped students gain skills that eventually supported them in securing placements.

Memorable days have been spent in this college, but facilities are not up to the mark.
Placements: Around 85% of students get placed. The highest package is 18 LPA, and the lowest package is 3.5 LPA. Top recruiters include HCL and Cognizant. Artificial Intelligence Engineering, Machine Learning, Analytics, Software Testing, and other valuable courses are offered to us. Students get internships according to their skills, but the college rarely provides internship opportunities.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good enough, but it can be improved and be more up to the mark. I am not staying in the hostel. I am a day scholar, so I have no idea about hostel facilities. Wi-Fi is not available everywhere, but some places have the best connectivity. Labs are good, but some labs do not have proper PCs. The library is like a study area, but it is difficult to find available books.
Faculty: Faculty members are helpful, but the teaching staff is not the best. They are qualified and supportive, but some are restrictive regarding practical knowledge and activities. The course curriculum is relevant. It makes students ready for industrial knowledge, but it is mostly focused on basic concepts.
Other: I am eager to learn Artificial Intelligence. Better teaching staff, practical knowledge, fest events, and scholarships are important aspects.

Placements: Placement was good. The placement cell of the college was also good. A separate placement cell was set up in the college for student placements. All types of companies came to the college for the recruitment of students. Placement-wise, 90% of students were placed. Companies like Tech Mahindra, Hawkins, HDFC, Reliance, ICICI, TCS, ITC Hotels, etc., visited the campus. The average package was between 3.6 LPA and 6 LPA. The highest package was 28 LPA. It also depended on students' experience, knowledge, and performance. Companies offered packages according to their performance. Companies conducted interviews and GD rounds for the selection of students. Students needed to clear all tests.
Infrastructure: The hostel facilities of the college were good. Security was maximum throughout the time. Food was available at all times. The food was always fresh, healthy, and very tasty. Wi-Fi service was also available in the hostel.
Faculty: Faculty was very good. They were highly educated and helpful in all situations. I never felt that any faculty member was bad, and every faculty member had great knowledge. We had no problems understanding any particular subject. Our faculty members were highly qualified and kept building confidence in students. They helped us with all problems. Exam structure followed a semester system with a basic framework of mid-semester and end-semester practical examination tests. The end-semester exam was of 70 marks. 20 marks were for the mid-semester, and 10 marks were for assignments and attendance. The course structure was quite amazing and covered almost all the aspects required for a business course. It began with the basics of business management and business functions involved in all the basic aspects of management. It was all about gaining thorough knowledge and learning about business. The course could be completed in two years with good teaching staff in the college.

College is okay, a mediocre one. It is not too good, not too bad.
Placements: In my batch, students get placed, but here is the catch. The starting salary is average, about 4 LPA, and the highest is also 12 LPA this year. I feel it is improving, but it can only be considered if you are not getting anything else. Very few people get internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not good at all, so I do not recommend going for the college hostel. The college is currently being constructed in the right way, and the infrastructure is improving. It does not have what we expect from a college, so the infrastructure is not good.
Faculty: Faculty is good and experienced, but the courses have many subjects. Those are not useful, like human values, economics, and other subjects, which frustrate students a lot. These subjects do not help in any way for our future. The difficulty level of the semester exams is also okay.
Other: Events are also very bad and not up to expectations.

I am happy with my college. It gives me good industry-required knowledge for placements.
Placements: Overall, the placement rate is 81%. The highest package for CSE is 23.2 LPA, the lowest package is 3.5 to 4 LPA, and the average package is 7.8 LPA. The top recruiting companies for my course are IBM and PhonePe. Around 50% of students get internships. The top role offered is Data Scientist.
Infrastructure: The hostel has all facilities. The food in the mess is of good quality. There is a sports ground mainly for playing basketball, and there is Wi-Fi on every floor of each building. The college provides a good Wi-Fi connection to students. Classrooms have digital boards. The library is big and silent, where many students go for self-study.
Faculty: Teachers are kind, helpful, and well-educated. They provide quality education. The curriculum is industry-related and makes us confident for placements. The exams are quite difficult, and the college is strict. If someone is found cheating, the college fails that student in the exam and takes strict action against them.
Other: I chose it because it gives me a good package. The college also conducts fests and campus activities that are full of fun.

Q:   How can I get into Pune University for MA?
A: 

Candidates seeking admission to MA are required to have completed their relevant UG degree. For further selection, candidates have to appear for OEE conducted by UniPune for final selection. The majority of MA courses are available on the campus of UniPune while a few chunks of MA specialisations are also offered by various affiliated colleges and recognised institutes under UniPune. After appearing for the exam, students are required to wait for the merit lists released on the official website of the university. After the release of the merit list, students are required to fill in the admission form and upload the necessary documents in it. After all the documents are verified by the relevant department, an admission fee challan is generated and the fee must be paid followed by that before the last date.

Q:   How can I apply to SPPU for M.Com?
A: 
Candidates who are in the final year of their qualifying exam can appear for OEE conducted by SPPU. For the same, students can apply online on the 'PG Admission' portal of the university. The admission is subject to candidates' passing the qualifying exam. For admission to courses offered at the affiliated/ unaided colleges under SPPU, it is suggested that the candidates must visit/ contact the shortlisted institute. It must be noted that the application fee for OEE is INR 600 (for General category students) and INR 400 (for reserved category candidates) for a single course.

A: 

At the PG level, UniPune offers a two-year MSc programme in over 20 specialisations. The application forms for MCA admission at UniPune can be filled out via the online portal of MAH MCA CET. The application form for the same are available only in online mode on the website cetcell.mahacet.org. To apply the candidates need to follow the steps given below:

  1. Open the MAH MCA CET 2024 website and click on the ‘apply now’ tab and register as a new user.
  2. To register, enter your name, e-mail ID and other contact details asked. After successful registration, a registration number and password will be sent through e-mail and SMS
  3. Post-registration, candidates have to fill out the detailed form, and upload a recent passport-size photo and scanned signature.

Department of Management Sciences, Pune University MBA often sees a very high cutoff. For MAH CET, the closing round went as high as 99.89 percentile based on 2025 data. For admissions through CAT/ MAT/ CMAT, the cutoff required ranges from 80 percentile - 90 percentile depending on the category. This however, is an estimated cutoff only and is subjective.
