Pune University offers a two-year MA programme across more than 40 specialisations to the students at PG level in the field of Arts. In addition to this, there are multiple Integrated MA courses offered at the Unipune departments The majority of MA courses are available on the campus of UniPune while a few chunks of MA specialisations are also offered by various affiliated colleges and recognised institutes under UniPune. UniPune offers three-year BSc Blended and BSc in four and one specialisations. The Department of Management Sciences (PUMBA), Savitribai Phule Pune University, has released the placement stats for its MBA Class of 2024. The key highlights of Savitribai Phule Pune University placements for the MBA Class of 2023 and 2024 are presented below:

The selected candidates have to pay the admission fees or the first semester fees to lock their seats. UniPune fee structure is inclusive of different components, such as tuition fees, hostel fees, security deposit, etc. Savitribai Phule Pune University BSc tuition fee ranges from INR 7,900 to INR 7.6 lakh. In addition, the hostel charges are INR 3.15 lakh.

The course fee varies from one specialisation to another and the selected college. Mentioned fee amount is as per the official website/sanctioning body. It is subject to changes and hence, is indicative. 

At the PG level, UniPune offers a two-year MSc programme in over 20 specialisations. While admission to a majority of these specialisations is OEE based, there are a few courses, such as Medical Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Computer Science and Drug Chemistry, among others, admission to which is completely merit-based. In addition to this, there are a few MSc programmes, the duration of which is slightly different from the majority. The eligibity criteria for SPPU MSc Physics : BSc in Physics/ Electronic Science/ Chemistry and Maths in Engineering degree BE/BTech/ BS in Maths till the second year with a minimum 45% aggregate. 

Yes, it is possible to join UNIPUNE for an MBA. As the University admission to the MBA course is based on multiple entrance exams,  MAH CET, CMAT, XAT, ATMA, etc. Thus, applicants who have not appeared and secured valid scores in CAT can apply for the course through the scores of different examinations.

Pune University BTech admission is subject to a valid score in Online Entrance Exam (OEE) conducted by the University. However, candidates with a valid score in JEE Main/ MHT CET are also considered for admission. Pune University BTech Agricultural Engineering admission is offered based on ICAR AIEEA scores. Candidates need to pass Class 12 from a recognised board with relevant subjects to apply for UniPune BTech admission. While BTech in Aviation is offered by SPPU on its main campus only, BTech programme is offered in multiple specialisations through SPPU-affiliated colleges. Read more here.

The list of documents required for Unioune admission and OEE registration are Score card of last qualifying exam, Mark sheet of last semester of qualifying exam, Caste certificate/ non-creamy layer certificate issued by the Government of Maharashtra – for reserved category candidates, Valid income certificate issued by the Government of Maharashtra, and Medical certificate issued by a civil surgeon in case of PwD category. Candidates must have photocopies of these documents.

Savitribai Phule Pune University offers scholarships for candidates on the basis of a set eligibility. SPPU has financial aid which is also facilitated by the government through various schemes and plans. The application forms for MCA admission at UniPune can be filled out via the online portal of MAH MCA CET. The application form for the same are available only in online mode on the website cetcell.mahacet.org. To apply the candidates need to follow the steps given below:

1. Open the MAH MCA CET 2024 website and click on the ‘apply now’ tab and register as a new user.
2. To register, enter your name, e-mail ID and other contact details asked. After successful registration, a registration number and password will be sent through e-mail and SMS
3. Post-registration, candidates have to fill out the detailed form, and upload a recent passport-size photo and scanned signature.
4. After the above step, submit the form. Candidates must keep a printed copy of the same with them for future reference.
