M.Sc. in Botany - Batch of 2017

Good placements in 2017, highly qualified and motivated faculty.
Placements: In our batch, almost everybody was placed. Our highest package was 7 LPA, the lowest package was 3.5 LPA and the average package was around 5.5 LPA. The companies which visited our campus were Idea, Kotak, Infosys, Accenture, A.C.Neilson, Cartesian, Magic 9, etc. We didn't have internship opportunities in our college.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, library and classrooms were awesome and well-maintained whereas sports and games were okay. The canteen food was like home food. You can have it without the fear of getting ill. We never faced any infrastructure issues during our tenure. The maintenance team and other people in charge were always on their toes when it came to maintenance.
Faculty: Our faculty members (both teaching as well as non-teaching) were very supportive and approachable. Both teaching and non-teaching faculty members were highly qualified (minimum graduate) and knowledgable. Industry exposure was not there but the teaching was beyond excellence.
Other: If you want to pursue post graduation, then Mumbai University is the best choice. The only difficulty over here is to get admission but after you have got admission, then your career is smooth and settled. Just focus on what they teach because that itself is something that you would require in the corporate world/industry.

Overall, it is the best college in India.
Placements: Placements here are one of the best in India. As I am an IIT student, this year the top salary package got by the students of the mathematics computing course, which was about 1.38 crore per year. Moreover, the average salary package offered for the CSE branch is good, and it is around 25 LPA. The average salary package offered by the MNC is 19 LPA. For electronics students, the salary package offered is around 14 LPA-15 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is around 9 LPA-10 LPA. Overall, the placements are very good here. I am really very impressed by the placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is not like what you usually expect from an IIT because of many reasons. It has been one of the oldest universities and has been an open campus, so the things are not much fancy. However, if you join here, you will enjoy the vast campus life. Overall, the infrastructure is the best.
Faculty: Faculty members here are the best and not less than what you expect. The course is manageable and easy-going, so you will find it fun studying in our college. We don't have to write the whole practical file as it is just a log sheet. Moreover, the exam papers are not evaluated by external faculty members, and everything is checked within the college by our professors and show results after checking just like the school.

The college diaries review.
Placements: In M.Sc, only 10% of students are there as per university seats. The course package was the highest. No internships from my college are offered. The top role contained is analysis part also organic-inorganic and physical practical facilities available and one research paper in last year of M.Sc.
Infrastructure: The college facilities like Wi-Fi, classrooms are available for us. Lab are well ventilated also the library has reference book, comics and story books. Medical facilities are also available. Canteen was available for us which contains fresh foods and many types of dishes also available.
Faculty: In my opinion only one teacher was helpful and qualified always supported me and knowledgeable also teaching quality was excellent. College arranged the tarapur industrial visit which is helpful for our future also arrange many college activities also power point presentation.
Other: I chose this course because of my own opinions. In this course containing analysis of food and many other ores and cosmetics.
