In addition to Joint Entrance Examination Main, the college also accepts scores of other entrance exams such as COMEDK UGET, Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET), Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (KPGCET), etc. Candidates must also have valid eligibility criteria, i.e., a pass in Class 12 with 45% aggregate in PCM for GM students and above 40% aggregate for SC/ ST students.

Step 1: Application process
Candidates must visit the official website and select the programme they want to apply to. The application process requires candidates to fill the online application form with all the required details and attach all relevant documents and certificates.
Step 2: Interview, entrance exam, and GP
Candidates' application forms will be scrutinised and selection will be made based on the eligibility criteria. Selected candidates will be invited for a counselling interview. Additionally, candidates must also appear for the entrance exam, personal interview, and group discussion as per the programme requirements.
Step 3: Merit List/Cutoff/Counseling

Step 3: Seat offer

Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) admissions 2024 are entrance based. Candidates who wish to take admission to VTU BTech proramme must appear for the entrance examination. The College does not offer direct admission to candidates in any of the programmes. Candidates who wish to take admission to the BTech programme must appear for either KCET or COMEDK and qualify the eligiblity criteria.
According to the latest notice by COMEDK official website, Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka ( COMEDK) UGET will be conducted on 12th May 2024 .
