Review of VIT Bhopal University.
Placements: Approximately 80-90% of eligible students secure placements, as many go on to pursue further education. The highest is 40-60 LPA, the average is 7-9 LPA, and the lowest is 3.5-4 LPA (offered by mass recruiters).
Infrastructure: The amenities are basic. There are labs for each branch. Wi-Fi speed is decent. There are two libraries, one in AB1 and the other in AB2. The hostel quality is also decent. The mess food is relatively good. Medical facilities are available 24/7. For sports, there is a basketball court, a multipurpose hall, and one at the boys’ hostel.
Faculty: Being in college, you have to study by yourself. Teachers are quite decent, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant and precise. It does make students industry-ready. Semester exams are at a medium level, and grades are relative, depending on the marks of other students as well.
Other: I chose this because VIT has a strong placement brand name and is the best option for my rank. The best thing is a strong placement drive with many companies visiting and a competitive coding culture. Needs improvement in many low-package mass recruiters, and the campus is isolated, far from the city. Events include decent fests like Advitya, Winter Fest, and Summer Fest. The crowd is mixed, with students from all over India. The campus is modern but remote. There are many options, but you need to be proactive. It is a good platform if you work hard. Don’t expect anything to be handed to you.

VIT-BHOPAL: It's a really good college for really studying students.
Placements: In my college, 95% of students are placed in multinational companies (MNCs). The highest package in my college is 56 LPA, the average package is 25 LPA, and the lowest package is 3.5 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Amazon, Infosys, Google, TCS, etc. 100% of students got internships from my Cyber Security course.
Infrastructure: I am currently staying in the hostel. The facilities are good, but sometimes adjustments are needed with the food, though it is not bad. Wi-Fi and AC facilities are provided. The libraries are also good, and they have nearly 3 blocks of hostels. A lift is also provided, and daily sports and games are available.
Faculty: In my college, faculty are very friendly and also help with subjects. They use the blackboard and provide good knowledge. In my course, we learn ethical hacking, which is a very interesting course. The semester exams are conducted very strictly, and 80% of students pass.

Satisfied with the faculty and academics but not with placements in 2025.
Placements: Around 30% of students got placed. The highest package is around 10 LPA and the average package is around 6 LPA. Cognizant and TCS are the top recruiting companies. 20% of people got internships and around 30% of people got full time jobs in companies like Cognizant and TCS.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure, including essential facilities such as Wi-Fi, labs, playgrounds, and the library, is well-maintained and satisfactory. Faculty members are knowledgeable and competent enough to teach the courses. Regarding the food, its quality varies; some days it is good, while on others, it may not meet expectations.
Faculty: When it comes to academics, the system is functioning well and meets expectations. The planning of academic calendars and examinations is organized effectively. The level of difficulty of exams feels reasonable, and the marking system is fair and satisfactory overall.
Other: Most of the placed students are not satisfied as most of the students got regular packages.

VIT Bhopal highlights regarding placement and infrastructure.
Placements: About 70 percent of students got placed and had good placements. The class strength was 70 students. Companies like Amazon and Microsoft visited, and around 90 percent got internships. Rather than internships, there are good placement opportunities, and many companies visit.
Infrastructure: Excellent Wi-Fi and well-developed modern labs, with a vast collection in the library. If we talk about the hostel, it is very good, furnished with excellent hygiene, and has a good atmosphere. Medical facilities are available 24 hours on the campus itself, so students have no problem.
Faculty: All professors are Ph.D. qualified and have specific field knowledge. They are experts in their subjects. Yes, these subjects help students become industry-ready. Semester exams are in two phases: mid-term and term-end. Both are for testing the knowledge relevant to the semester.
Other: I was interested in cybersecurity, so I chose this course. It's a very interesting course. The fest and campus growth are also very good, with a lush green campus spread across 250+ acres.

Good infrastructure, facilities, and food.
Placements: Generally, 70-80% of the students are placed in my course. In my course, I think the highest was 18-20 LPA and the average is 9 LPA. Many companies come to our campus like TCS, Cisco, Flipkart, Myntra, etc. Cybersecurity students can also apply for the placements of CSE core companies and some other companies which only require Cybersecurity students. The senior I know joined a company in the Cybersecurity department, and her package was 14 LPA.
Infrastructure: We have a common 2-floor library, and every classroom has an outer. In the hostel, every room has an outer, and mostly rooms get high-speed Wi-Fi, with a speed around 1mbps, but some rooms don't get high Wi-Fi speed as they're in the backside of the hostel. We have 6 blocks of boys' hostel. The quality of the food is good, we get non-veg 4 alternate days of the week (one day eggs and chicken for the remaining 3 days). The playground is not completely constructed yet, but we have a basketball court, badminton court, and a multipurpose hall (MPH).
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. In fact, most of the teachers have a Ph.D. degree. Teaching quality overall is good. The course curriculum is relevant, and it does make students industry-ready by the 3rd or 4th year. Most of the time, the semester exams are really tough, in subjects like Calculus and Electric Circuits and Systems (EEE). Few students pass.
