Jamia admissions to all the diploma and certificate courses are based on a candidate's performance in the University-conducted entrance exam called Jamia Millia Islamia Entrance Exam. The JMI Entrance Exam is conducted annually in offline mode at seven examination centres, including Thiruvananthapuram, Delhi, Lucknow, Guwahati, Patna, Srinagar and Kolkata. Candidates seeking admission to Jamia Millia Islamia for MBA can apply online on the official website. Admission to this course is offered based on the entrance exam conducted by the university, i.e. JMI Entrance Eest. Jamia Millia Islamia Scholarships 2021
The University offers several scholarships on a merit and needs basis. The details regarding some of the JMI scholarships are given below:
- Jamia Merit Scholarship: The top scorers of the respective exams are eligible for this scholarship.
- Merit Scholarship for the Centre of Management: This scholarship is given to MBA first and second-semester students. The top scorers of semester exams are awarded this scholarship.
- SC/ST/OBC Scholarship: This scholarship is given to the reserved category candidates. Economically weak candidates are also eligible for this scholarship.
- Scholarship for International Exchange Programme: Candidates who are selected for the International Exchange Programme are eligible for this scholarship. This scholarship is offered by the Centre for Management Studies.
