Engineering Colleges accepting JEE Main for B.Tech in Delhi

The course curriculum of IIT Delhi BTech in Mathematics and Computing programme include institute core and departmental core subjects. Each of the subject has some credit attached to it. The total tuition fee for the full-time BTech programme ranges between INR 6.06 and INR 6.42 lakh while the students who get into this college via Lateral Entry are required to pay a tuition fee of INR 2.97 lakh. To be eligible for GGSIPU BTech (lateral) admissions, candidates need to clear the BSc course with a minimum aggregate of 60%. Candidates must clear a BSc course with Mathematics as a mandatory subject as well to apply for BTech (lateral) at GGSIPU.

BTech is one of the top courses of Jamia Hamdard University. NIRF ranked Jamia Hamdard at 79 under 'Overall' Category and 49 under 'University' Category. After completing the degree from Jamia Hamdard, BTech students can participate in the on-campus placement drive. Jamia Hamdard placement report 2023 is not released. However, according to Jamia Hamdard course-wise NIRF reports 2023, the median package offered during Jamia Hamdard BTech placements 2022 stood at INR 4.25 LPA. The median salary package offered to the students after finishing B.E. / B.Tech from Shiv Nadar University (SNU) is INR 997,000. While, the Median package offered by Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology after completion of B.E. / B.Tech is INR 825,000. Basis these stats, Shiv Nadar University (SNU) is better option compared to Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology on the Median salary parameter.

JNU BTech admission is based on Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main. After meeting the cut off requirement, students need to participate in the JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) counselling. JNU releases specific cutoff ranks for each engineering branch.

The total fee for BTech range from INR 4.5 lakh -INR 36 lakh. The fee is calculated based on the semester fee.  Admission to BTech course is based on LPUNEST or CUET UG score. After completion of the selection rounds, shortlisted aspirants need to pay the course fee to confirm their admission. Candidates are first required to register with an application fee for LPUNEST. The exam fee for LPUNEST is INR 1,000 for males and INR 500 for females.
