Engineering Colleges accepting JEE Main for B.Tech in Delhi

BTech is IIT Delhi's flagship programme. Qualifying JEE Mains 2026 and JEE Advanced 2026 is mandatory for IIT Delhi BTech Admissions 2026. Meanwhile, 75% aggregate in Class 12 board exams is strictly required for IIT BTech admission 2026.

IIT Delhi BTech Seats are allotted via JoSAA counselling based on ranks and cutoffs. According to IIT Delhi JEE Advanced 2026 cutoff, the institute closed the Round 1 cut off at 123 for B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) for General Category (Gender Neutral) candidates. 

For admission to most of the undergraduate and postgraduate courses offered at Delhi Technological University, students need to score 50% to 60% minimum total in their last qualifying degree or course to be eligible. Jamia Millia's Admission process for 2026 is conducted in online mode only. Candidates willing to seek admission need to visit the official website of the university to fill out the application form, attach documents and pay the application fee. While submitting the application, candidates are required to make a payment of the application fee via credit card/ debit card/ net banking. The accepted entrance exam for admissions into BTech course at NSUT is always JEE Mains. Students need to qualify the eligibility as per the JEE Mains first. Then, they can apply for the UG Engineering course at NSUT. Then, students need to appear for JAC Delhi 2026 Counselling.

BTech is one of the top courses of Jamia Hamdard University. NIRF ranked Jamia Hamdard at 74 under 'Overall' Category' in 2025 rankings. The median salary package offered to the students after finishing B.E. / B.Tech from Shiv Nadar University (SNU) is INR 997,000. While, the Median package offered by Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology after completion of B.E. / B.Tech is INR 825,000. The total seats offered for B.E. / B.Tech at Dronacharya College of Engineering and Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology are 660 and 600, respectively. While Dronacharya College of Engineering offers this course in 9 specialisations, Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology offers the same in 7 specialisations. Hence, there are higher chances of getting a seat at Dronacharya College of Engineering due to higher seats.

The programme eligibility includes qualifying for the JEE Main and have an educational background of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in class 12 with 75% marks. Because the specializations are so focused, students get to work in a research-intensive environment that JNU is famous for, even while pursuing a technical professional degree.
