NPAT Preparation in 3 Months

NPAT Preparation in 3 Months: SVKMs NMIMS conducts NPAT exam every year for BBA admissions. Candidates preparing for NPAT exam need a combination of a good strategy and dedication. Experts and past year's toppers suggest that a minimum of 90 days of preparation is required to clear NPAT exam. A successful three-month plan involves mastering the NPAT syllabus and exam pattern, utilising quality study materials, and solving past question papers. Candidates can divide 90 days of NPAT preparation between three phases. First two phases of NPAT preparation can be allocated to cover all aspects of the syllabus. Last 30 days of NPAT 2026 preparation must be dedicated to solving questions from improtant topics from NPAT syllabus, practising mock tests, and sample papers.

The NPAT 90-day preparation strategy must also include solving past year’s NPAT question papers. Shiksha gives you a detailed strategy to prepare for NPAT in 90 days in this article.

NPAT 2026 Preparation in Three Months

Candidates must draw a three-month NPAT preparation plan way before the release of the exam details. Three months of NPAT preparation must be divided into multiple phases. With moving time, candidates have less time to prepare for the NPAT exam. Every candidate's NPAT preparation plan in 90 days may vary based on the date they start preparing, their strengths and weaknesses.

By allocating 30 days of each month, candidates can further divide each month's preparation into three intervals for a precise preparation strategy for NPAT 2026. While preparing a three-month study plan for NPAT 2026, candidates must allocate not more than 60 days to study all topics. After studying 15-20 days must be devoted to solving past question papers, mock tests and sample papers. The remaining number of days must be devoted to rigorous revision.

#1 Month of NPAT 2026 Preparation

Preparation in the first month shall start with knowing about the NPAT exam pattern and syllabus. Additionally, candidates need to accumulate the best study material, including books, sample papers, previous year’s question papers, mock tests and more. The space below mentions the NPAT preparation strategy for the first month:

  • Review the exam basics, including the test structure, syllabus, marking scheme, schedule, and more for NPAT 2026 exam.
  • Buy the required study material, including the recommended books for NPAT exam, and previous year’s question papers.
  • Solve a question paper from the previous exam session to analyse where you stand.
  • Besides knowing your strengths and weaknesses, check the difficulty level of NPAT exam and topic-wise weightage to keep note of the important topics.
  • Lay a study plan by allocating the first 25 days to the most difficult section.
  • The remaining five days of the month must be devoted to solving questions from the section and revision of the topics.
  • Draft short notes while preparing. This would help in the NPAT last week's preparation strategy.
  • Learn the hacks or shortcuts to solve questions from the sections to get an edge over other test takers.

Candidates must consume the first month of NPAT preparation in planning and preparing for the most difficult section. Most candidates find either Quantitative Reasoning or Logical Reasoning as their weakest sections.

#2 Month of NPAT 2026 Preparation

Candidates already have a defined study plan in the start of the second month of NPAT 2026 preparation. Additionally, candidates should have completed the most difficult section among the three sections. The second-month preparation will be on a lighter tone concentrating on the section you find moderate in terms of difficulty level. The space below mentions the NPAT preparation strategy for the second month:

  • Before starting to prepare for the second most difficult section, candidates must reevaluate their preparation of the first section using the previous year’s question papers.
  • Fine-tune the section by reviewing the missed topics. Go through these topics once again and level up the preparation game.
  • Candidates must devote most of the second month to the sections they find moderate in terms of difficulty.
  • Identical to the first month's preparation, candidates are advised to prepare short notes of topics under each section.
  • Before the start of the third month, practise questions from the two sections you prepared during the entire month from the past year’s question papers.

Candidates typically consume the second month of NPAT preparation in studying for two sections with medium difficulty standards. Most of the candidates find general knowledge and reasoning sections, with moderate difficulty level.

#3 Month of NPAT 2026 Preparation

Easiest section among the three NPAT sections must be covered in the third month. After completing the syllabus, candidates must evaluate their overall preparation. Candidates must also keep some days to practise sample papers and past question papers in the third month. The space below mentions the NPAT preparation strategy for the third and final month:

  • Dive into the preparation plan for the last section that is the easiest section of all.
  • Allocate at least 10 days to prepare all the topics from the last section. Additionally, prepare short notes alongside.
  • After completing the syllabus, take a full-length past-year question paper simulating the test environment with a timer, limited breaks, etc.
  • Evaluate the performance and determine the topics that require a second visit.
  • Study from the short notes and solve as many sample papers as possible during the last phase of NPAT preparation.

Relax a day before the test and avoid studying during the late hours.
