SET exam 2024 was conducted on May 5, 2024, in the computer-based test mode. Shiksha got to talking to the students who took the SET exam, and according to them the Quant section was the toughest. SET 2024 exam student reaction and reviews

SET exam 2024 test 1 was held on May 5, 2024, at various examination centres across India. The SET exam was conducted in the computer-based test mode and the examination timings were 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Shiksha visited a SET test centre for SET exam 2024 students’ reactions and reviews. According to the students we spoke to, the SET question paper was of moderate difficulty level and could be completed in the given time. Most of the students found Logical Reasoning and General English easy. Quants questions were difficult and GK was moderate in the SET exam 2024. Read below and watch the video for student reactions and reviews of the SET 2024 exam (test 01).

SET exam 2024 Student's Reactions

Khush: The difficulty of the SET exam was average. There were 60 questions and the toughest section was the Quantitative Aptitude. The easiest section was the Logical Reasoning section. There were no technical glitches and the SET exam pattern was the same as the previous year. 
 
Mayank: The difficulty level of the test 01 SET was easy to moderate. I attempted all the questions of the SET question paper. For me, the easiest section was LR and the toughest was General Knowledge. No particular topic dominated the section. All topics were evenly distributed. To prepare for SET exam, my strategy was to cover the complete SET exam syllabus
 
Ishaant: The paper was easy. I attempted all the 60 questions as there was no negative marking. For me, Quant section was the toughest, GK was moderate and the easiest was Logical Reasoning. The exam pattern was the same as the SET mock tests. My SET preparation strategy was attempting the mock tests. 
 
Samarath and Arjun: The difficulty level of the exam was moderate to difficult. LR and General English were easy but the Gk and Quant sections were tough. There was no particular topic that dominated the question paper. There were no technical glitches.

Yes, students should begin their SET exam preparation at least 6 months before exam date. SET exam is easy to moderate. Students should spend time on practice and mock test to score well.

SET syllabus includes important topics of subjects that are relevant for business and general aptitude. For SET exam, candidates have to study, English Quantitative Aptitude General Knowledge and Analytical Reasoning.

If student has a good study plan, they can study at home for SET exam. The exam is conducted annually and is easier than other BBA exams.

IPMAT is usually considered a bit more difficult than SET, as IPMAT exam has advanced mathematics and is calculation intensive. The exam also have a sectional time limit. But, SET is easier in terms of difficulty, does not have negative marking or sectional timings.

Students must report to the SET exam centre at least an hour before the exam. SET exam will take place at 9 AM at many test centres. Students must reach the exam centre the latest by 7:30 AM.

Yes, one can fill the SET application form on one day and pay the fee on another day as it is not mandatory to register for SET exam and fill the application form or pay the fee in one go.
