SET exam is conducted to offer admissions into undergraduate programs, BBA, BCA, Media, etc. To register for the exam, details need to be filled out along with fee payment. The SET 2027 registration process is likely to start in December 2026, and the exam is expected to be held in May 2027. The SET is held in CBT mode, and the question paper has 60 questions, consisting of 1 mark, which makes the exam 60 marks in total. Symbiosis entrance exam has no negative marking. The SET registration fee is INR 2250 + applicable taxes. However, students who are applying for both test dates need to apply for both tests individually. In addition to this, there is an INR 1000 fee per institute fees which you need to pay for each Symbiosis Institute you’re applying to.

SET fee payment modes

The SET registration fee can be made via debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI. Also, students submitting the fee via demand draft should submit it to and in favour of the Symbiosis Test Secretariat, Pune, before the SET registration deadline.

The SET exam registration and SET payment process 2027 is provided below:

• Go to the official website, i.e, www.set-test.org.

• Click on the “Apply” or “Register” tab. 

• Read all the necessary details and fill in your personal and educational details. 

• Select the number of tests you want to take along with preferred institutes/cities.

• Proceed with the payment (pay the test fee and program fee as per your chosen institutes).

• Pay the fees and download/print the receipt. 

The fee is non-refundable and non-transferable in any case. Even if the student fails to attempt the exam, the fee won’t be refunded/transferrred. 

It is suggested to have proper network connectivity while making the fee payment to avoid any glitches, and read out all the key details before proceeding with the fee payment. Having accurate knowledge of SET registration and fees makes the process easier.
