IPMAT Registration 2026: Expected Date, Application Fee & How to Apply

IPMAT Indore application form 2026 is expected to be released in second week of February 2026. Registration window will likely be open for approximately a month. Registration process usually completes by end of March. IPMAT 2026 exam will be conducted on May 4, 2026. 

Yes, candidates belonging to the reserved categories can avail a fee concession. Candidates who wish to appear for IPMAT exam must follow process mentioned below to know how to register for exam and log in to IIM Indore website:

• Go to website of IIM Indore

• Click on registration link for IPMAT 2026

• Candidate needs to generate a User ID and password using details such as name, date of birth, mobile number, email ID, etc. 

• This User ID and password will also be sent to candidate through registered email and SMS

• Next, the candidate needs to relogin using login details

• Pay registration fee through a Credit or Debit Card or internet Banking

• Candidates belonging to reserved categories need to submit valid and attested certificates supporting their reservation category 

Minimum eligibility criteria for IPMAT is a score of at least 60 per cent in both Class 10 and Class 12 or equivalent for General and NC-OBC categories. Candidate should have scored a minimum of 55% in case of SC, ST and PWD DA categories. 

Also, they should be a maximum of 20 years of age as of July 31, 2026. 

No, candidates do not have to pay any fee for IPMAT form correction. The facility is provided to candidates free of cost. However, if they have made an error in a field that is not available for editing, then, they will have to fill a fresh IPMAT form before submission deadline and pay the application fee again. 

IPMAT registration fee can be paid only online. There is no provision of paying the application fee offline. Candidates need to pay the application fee online in order to complete the IPMAT application form. The candidates applying for the IPMAT exam must note that the IPMAT application process is completely online from filling the IPMAT application form till paying the application fee. There is no offline communication. The application fee for IPMAT is INR 4130. The application fee for IPMAT can only be paid online using a credit card, debit card, internet banking or UPI. Students belonging to the reserved category are eligible to avail a fee concession. The IPMAT application fee for reserved category students is INR 2065.

There is a set limit to upload a photograph and digital signatures in the IPMAT registration form. The size of the file should be between the prescribed size. Also, the dimensions of the image uploaded should match the ones mentioned in the instructions. If the documents are not in the prescribed format then the application form can be rejected. Candidates must note that there is a very small form correction window in the IPMAT application process, hence they must carefully fill the application form and upload clear scanned copies of the documents.

Yes, students who have completed IPMAT registration process and paid application fee can make correction. Only a few field of the form are editable and there is a limit on the number of corrections that can be made. 

Yes, IIM Indore extends financial aid to the aspirants in need of financial assistance. The institute offers a Need Based Financial Assistance (NBFA) scholarship to ensure that no aspirant is deprived of education at the institute for financial reasons. All participants admitted to the Post-Graduate Programme in Management (PGP), PGP HRM (PGPH) and Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) with annual family income below INR 9,00,000 are eligible to apply for this scholarship. All the students who have applied through the EWS quota but have secured the seat through general or any other quota can also apply for NBFA. Any participant who have applied through SC, ST, OBC or physically handicapped quota and fall within the above eligibility criteria can also apply for the NBFA.

IPMAT 2026 form correction window will open after the registration process. It is expected to open in first week of April 2026 for a short period of time. Applicants who have filled and submitted their IPMAT application form 2026 will be able to make corrections to the application form by the deadline. 

Candidates should know that they can make corrections to only six fields in the IPM form. Rest of the form is un-editable. The opportunity to make corrections is optional and not mandatory. 

Students applying for the IPMAT exam can choose only test centre. And the IPMAT test city cannot be changed once the form has been submitted and also during the form correction window. The details of the IPMAT  test centre will be mentioned on the IPMAT admit card along with the date and time of the exam and the students will also be informed via SMS or email. No, IPMAT is a national-level entrance exam conducted by IIM Indore only once annually. IPMAT Rohtak is also conducted only once by IIM Rohtak.
