IPMAT Score vs Percentile 2026
The total marks in IPMAT Indore exam 2026 is 360. A students having a score of 345 and above will get 100 percentile in IPMAT Indore. Students who score between 280 to 340 will get about 90 percentile and have good chances of being shortlisted for the Personal Interview round.

No, meeting the IPMAT cutoff alone does not guarantee the admission to the IPM programme. Students can qualify for the next stage of the selection process if they match the cutoff and then perform well in Personal Interview and academic performance. Candidates who do well in the personal interview as well as the IPMAT exam may have their name in the merit list released by IIM Indore.
IPMAT Score vs Percentile: How to Calculate IPMAT Percentile
Given below is how to calculate composite score for IPMAT Indore 2026:
Minimum eligibility criteria for IPMAT is a score of at least 60 per cent in both Class 10 and Class 12 or equivalent for General and NC-OBC categories. Candidate should have scored a minimum of 55% in case of SC, ST and PWD DA categories.
Also, they should be a maximum of 20 years of age as of July 31, 2026.
Yes, if one has scored 75% in Class 12, they will be eligible for the IPMAT exam. IIM Indore accepts candidates who gave secured a minimum of 60% aggregate. For the students belonging to the SC/ST/PwD categories, the minimum academic cutoff is 55% aggregate.
IPMAT score is based on correct answers marked in IPMAT exam.
For every correct answer, 4 marks are awarded. For an incorrect answer, 1 mark is deducted.

IPMAT Indore and IPMAT Rohtak have similar syllabus but they differ in terms of difficulty level. IPMAT Indore exam has 3 sections based on Verbal Skills and Quantitative Skills but the IPMAT Rohtak exam has an extra section on Logical Reasoning.
