Integrated Program in Management Aptitude Test (IPMAT) is one of the most competitive entrance exams after Class 12. The difficulty level of the IPMAT exam is usually moderate. The IPMAT question paper is divided into three sections, i.e. Verbal Ability, Quantitative Aptitude (MCQs) and Quantitative Aptitude (SA). It is clear that QA (Maths) forms a big chunk of the IPMAT syllabus. The exam is a test of your speed and ability to pick and solve the right questions. Higher-level Maths dominates the exam. Yes, there are subjective-type or long form answer questions in the IPMAT exam. The Quantitative Aptitude section of the IPMAt exam has Short Answer Type questions as well as Multiple-choice questions. There are 25 questions each in both the QA sections of the IPMAT question paper. The duration of the exam is 120 minutes and the candidates will have 40 minutes to solve one section and another 40 minutes to solve the other. Candidates must attempt all the sections keeping in mind that the exam has negative marking. Candidates must note that each question in the IPMAT question paper carries four marks and one mark is deducted for every incorrect answer. No marks are awarded or deducted for unattempted questions. The exam is conducted in the computer-based test mode, hence the candidates have to type down their answers on their screens. As for the MCQs, candidates will be required to choose the correct answer in from the four options give against each question. If the candidate marks two answers for one question, then the answer will be marked incorrect.

IPMAT Registration 2026
IPMAT registration process 2026 is completely online. The IIM Indore IPMAT application form 2026 was available online on the official website of IIM Indore. IPMAT 2026 registration started on February 2, 2026. There is no provision of applying offline for the IPMAT Indore exam. IPMAT form correction window opened on March 23, 2026, at 10 AM. The last date to make corrections was March 24, 2026, at 5 PM.
Documents Required for IPMAT Exam Registration
The following documents will be required for IPMAT registration 2026:
- Scanned or digital copy photograph and signature
- Digitally scanned copy of the latest OBC (Non-creamy) / SC / ST / DAP category certificate as applicable
- Scanned copy of mark sheet of Class 10 and Class 12
- Credit/ Debit card/ internet banking details to pay the fees online
- Valid government-issued ID proof. Students can choose any one of the following:

Students who successfully fill the IPMAT application form have to make the registration fee payment online to complete the application process. IPMAT Eligibility Criteria 2026
Applicants must fulfil the IPMAT 2026 eligibility criteria given below in order to appear for the IPMAT exam:
- Applicants must have a minimum of 60% aggregate in Class 10 and Class 12 or equivalent CGPA in the case of the General and NC OBC categories.
- Applicants belonging to SC, ST or PwD (DA) categories must have secured at least 55% aggregate or equivalent CGPA in Class 10 and Class 12.
- Applicants must have passed the qualifying exam in the years 2024, and 2025 or appearing in 2026.
- Applicants in the final year of Class 12 or awaiting the results are also eligible to apply provisionally.
It is advised that the students should check the IPM eligibility criteria before IPMAT registrations.
IPMAT Syllabus 2026
IPMAT 2026 syllabus includes topics on two important topics, i.e. Quantitative Aptitude and Verbal Ability. The IPMAT Indore question paper is based on topics from these two sections, and to ace the IIM Indore IPMAT exam, students need to study the topics and sub topics of the IPMAT exam syllabus.
