Take a look at IPMAT 2026 preparation and exam day tips to optimise your performance on the IPMAT exam day.
As we all know, a good result does not depend on how well you have prepared, but on how well you write in the exam and how you handle those crucial hours of the exam. Sometimes the candidates end up making small, silly mistakes that cost the candidates crucial marks. IPMAT 2026 will be conducted on May 04, 2026, in the computer-based test mode. Here are some of the important IPMAT exam day guidelines that the candidates must not miss out on during their IPMAT preparation 2026.
IPMAT 2026: Exam Day Preparation
Check IPMAT Indore 2026 exam day tips below:
- Candidates must carefully read the instructions thoroughly on the IPMAT question paper 2026 before starting the exam.
- IPMAT 2026 will be conducted in the computer-based test mode; hence, the candidates must get used to the onscreen reading. One question will be visible at a time on the screen.
- Candidates must adhere to the sectional time limit. Each section of the IPMAT question paper is to be solved within 40 minutes. Keep a close look at the timer. The section will automatically switch to the next once the time is over.
- The exam window will close once the overall time limit is over. Candidates must not spend a lot of time on one question. If they do not know the answer to a particular question, then they must move on to the next.
- Candidates must also keep the negative marking in mind. Skipping a question is better than marking the wrong answer. One mark will be deducted for every wrong answer marked by the candidate.
