Overview

NPAT 2026 Exam Pattern: SVKM's NMIMS prescribes the exam pattern for NPAT every year. The varsity is conducting NPAT as a computer-based test from the test centres. Candidates have an option to retake the exam twice after the main attempt.  It is important for NMIMS-NPAT aspirants to have a clear idea of the exam pattern so that they can excel in the examination. NPAT 2026 is expected to be held until the last week of May. NMIMS has provided an exam scheduling window where candidates can choose the preferred exam date. Post-scheduling the exam, candidates can download the admit card.

NPAT test takers should always attempt answering questions from the section in which they are most comfortable. This will help reduce stress on the test day. Owing to huge competition for 3,000+ seats, candidates must devise exam day strategy while practising mock tests. NPAT exam has 120 questions to be answered within 100 minutes. Therefore, candidates must work on their speed and accuracy to answer the questions in NMIMS NPAT exam.

To answer questions from the critical thinking section of NPAT exam, test takers need to work on their decision-making and problem-solving skills. Solving past question papers will help candidates preparing for NPAT.

Q:   Is NPAT syllabus lengthy?

Yes, however, most of the topics included in the NPAT syllabus comprises topics that candidates have studied until their Class 12 level education. However, questions from sections such as Logical Reasoning will require candidates to prepare for critical reasoning skills. Most of the topics are from the 10th and 12th standard syllabus.   • Verbal Reasoning: This section includes questions to test English Proficiency of the candidate.
  • Logical Reasoning: This section includes questions to measure the ability or aptitude to reason logically.
