IIT Patna cutoff 2025 was released for admission to BTech, Integrated BTech and B.S. in Economics + MBA courses. The cutoff was released based on candidates' performance in the JEE Advanced entrance exam, followed by the JoSAA counselling process. For the General AI category, the overall IIT Patna BTech cutoff 2025 ranged between 3215 and 16815. Of all the courses, the most competitive was Computer Science and Engineering, followed by Computer Science and Engineering + MBA in Digital Business Management and Artificial Intelligence & Data Science, with JEE Advanced last round closing ranks of 3377, 4297 and 4312, respectively.

IIT Patna Cutoff 2025 For SC All India Category
For the SC AI category students, the JEE Advanced 2025 first and last round closing ranks were 848 and 988, respectively, for CSE admission. For other core branches, including Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Chemical Engineering, the cutoff ranks were concluded at 2893, 2489 and 2987, respectively.
The IIT Patna MSc cutoff 2024 has been released for Round 1, wherein the most competitive specialisation is M.Sc. in Mathematics with a closing rank of 515 for the General AII India category students. The least competitive course is M.Sc. in Physics with a cutoff rank of 556. So, candidates seeking admission to any of the MSc courses must secure a rank up to 556 to be eligible for IIT Patna.
IIT Patna admission to the MSc course is based on IIT JAM scores, followed by the IIT JAM counselling process. Only candidates on the JAM 2024 merit list based on JAM 2024 scorecard will be eligible to apply for admission.
The cutoff trend for BTech at IIT Patna has been increasing in the recent years. In 2021, the closing rank for B.Tech. under general category for all India quota was 14216. For female candidates in general category under All India quota, 19143 was the closing rank. B.Tech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.
