The Ministry of Education releases NIRF Rankings every year to assess and rank higher education institutions across the country. NIRF ranks institutions based on parameters like Teaching, Learning & Resources, Research and Professional Practices, Graduation Outcomes, etc. NIRF releases these annual rankings late in the third quarter of the calendar year. The NIRF 2025 rankings came out on September 4, 2025. The NIRF 2026 rankings are awaited and about to be released soon. Once the 2026 rankings are out, students can check the official data on NIRF India Portal.
