The college is good and has the best teachers and a good campus.
Placements: Bhaskaracharya College of Applied Sciences, Sec 2 Dwarka. In my course, B.Sc. Hons Bot, 70% of students get their placement. The highest package is 10 LPA, and the lowest package is 3 LPA. ICAR, teaching, and other research institutes are top companies. 70% of students got internships, with roles to give knowledge about plant diversity.
Infrastructure: All facilities are good in college. We have ACs, water coolers, fans, lights, projectors, and more. We also have libraries and Wi-Fi with a good network. There are no hostel facilities, but we have a good mess and canteen, as well as lots of sports facilities and grounds.
Faculty: Teachers are very good and very helpful. There are some difficulties in semester exams, but 99% of students pass easily in exams. In my course, there are many students (I mean my seniors) who got the best placements from our college. They perform well and also carry good marks.
Other: I'm in the 1st year of Botany Hons. I chose the course to study plant diversity, genetics, and many other things. I want to improve my lab class facilities. Events, fests, and campus life are normal, with no excitement.

Review of Bhaskaracharya College of Applied Sciences.
Placements: Very little placement is given on campus. There is a campus placement cell that updates students from time to time on upcoming internship opportunities. Students in applied science courses can get decent jobs through networking. Practical-based learning leads to industry-ready personnel.
Infrastructure: The laboratories in the college are up-to-date with top-notch lab equipment. Classrooms are upgraded and have projectors, which actually work very well. The library possesses a vast collection of books that are required in the curriculum. There is no hostel in the college; students have to take PG or flats nearby.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and all of them are alumni of the premier institute in the country. The curriculum is based mostly on practical knowledge, preparing students and making them industry-ready. The exams are quite difficult and occur every semester with one mid-semester exam. The pass percentage is 98%.
Other: This course is relevant to my interests. The best thing is the practical-based learning. Study material availability is low; this can be improved. Fests are held, and every department has its own annual fest.

My college is applied sciences and we have only bachelor in science courses.
Placements: Around 50% of students got placed in my college. The highest salary offered in my course is Rs. 70,000 per month. Around 60% of students got internships from my course. Top roles offered in my course are from the research industry. Internships depend on students and how well they behave in their semester and exams.
Infrastructure: Our college is the 3rd largest and has a green campus at Delhi University. Wi-Fi password will be provided by the college for 2 hours per day. Labs are very good. Classrooms are also very good. The library is the best. Our canteen is not very good. The food is also not very tasty. We can eat sometimes. It is not very bad.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They are supportive. Their teaching quality is the best. Some courses make students industry-ready. Semester exams are not very difficult. The pass percentage is 98%. Teachers support everyone or every student. They don't do partiality and treat every student equally. They don't make a difference between students who are good with them, and those who are not good with them.
Other: I like plants and flowers. I like to study them, so I chose this course. The best thing about my course is that I have the best and most supportive teachers. Fests and events are frequent. The campus crowd is medium not very good. Campus surroundings are not good.

Our college is very good with amazing infrastructure and faculty members.
Placements: Our college placements are average, and only a few students in the whole batch got placed. Some of our seniors got a good salary package of 4-6 LPA. Many students also appeared for off-placements and got placed. Many well-reputed companies came to our college for placements, 40-45% of our seniors in the botany department got placed with a salary of Rs. 25,000 per month.
Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure is very good, and it has a lot of space for enjoyment. Wi-Fi availability is available in the whole college, and every student has access to it. Classrooms are well-maintained and cleaned regularly. All classrooms are digitally equipped with a wide variety of teaching and learning methods using technology. The library has a large collection of books, and the library is also well-ventilated. Hostel facilities are not available in the college, so students have to take PG near the college. The canteen is average with good quality of food, and the canteen is open all the time. Labs are well-equipped, and students are well-exposed for the practicals.
Faculty: Our college has one of the best faculty members of all the colleges of Delhi University. Faculty members are highly qualified, and they help all the students at every point like scholarship, government job preparation and higher studies. The whole college has a studying environment. The curriculum provides all the exposure and skills required for future jobs. Semester exams are quite tough, so students have to prepare hard for scoring good marks. All the students in our department are studious, and approximately all the students manage to pass exams with good marks. Staff members of the whole college are helpful and solve all our problems.
Other: Our college seniors are very helpful and help their juniors at every point. They also got good placement in their final year. The college also takes students to different places in India to visit and improve their practical skills. The college fest is average, but it is enjoyable. The college crowd is very good and enjoying. The college also provides students with many scholarships. Students are also encouraged to participate in extracurricular activities.

Infrastructure and facilities can be improved but academics, crowd, and surroundings are decent.
Placements: From my batch, 10% of students got internships at Yakult and Pepsico. It is a bachelor's course in botany. Most of us go for higher studies although they conduct sufficient workshops and training sessions. We also have our revision classes for competitive exams. Nearly 50% of my batchmates got summer internships.
Infrastructure: In 2022, when we started our college life, the infrastructure was very bad but it's continuously improving although still many laptops are not in working condition. ACs are not working. The library doesn't have the latest version of books. The hostel is not provided by the college. You have to look for a PG if you are not a day scholar. Medical facilities can be improved as most of the time medical room is locked but we have first aid boxes in our labs as well.
Faculty: Faculty members are outstanding and have immense knowledge of their fields. They have Ph.D. degrees. The new curriculum is the best as it includes more applied subjects and practical knowledge. Faculty members are committed towards their work. They teach every concept. The examination structure is decent.
Other: The academic portion of my department is too good. The academic infrastructure is quite outdated as we have to use outdated laptops and machines. This must be improved. Faculty members and lab staff have a supportive nature. Fests are decent after the selection of student unions, but still need a lot of improvement. The campus surroundings, extracurriculars, and scholarships are fair enough. If the infrastructure becomes better, it will become one of the best colleges at Delhi University.

There is a B.Sc. in Botany offered by Bhakaracharya College of Applied Sciences (BCAS), but placement opportunities are not so good. In general, this college has the modest placement record for Science courses. There were only 7 jobs available for students in 2022, with a median salary of about INR 2.6 lakhs. Q:   Is pursuing B.Sc at Bhaskaracharya College of Applied Sciences expensive?
ShikshaGPT says
A:

As seen earlier, the tuition fees for pursuing a degree at Bhaskaracharya College of Applied Sciences is relatively inexpensive. The annual fees are at INR 10,000 and 25,000 depending on the programme of study. The fee structure depends on course and semester/-year but as compared to other colleges and universities in Delhi the fees are moderate. Further, the college provides various scholarships and financial aid to deserving and economically BACK weak students, hence, making it affordable. In total, taking into account college ranking, availability of learning infrastructure and possibilities of getting a job, the fees can be deemed rather democratic. Still, for the students coming from the low-income families the cost may remain a problem and they may need to attract external financing.

Q:   Is Bhaskaracharya College of Applied Sciences Tier 1 or Tier 2?
ShikshaGPT says
A:

Bhaskaracharya College of Applied Sciences is a Tier 2 college. Established more than six decades ago, the institution has significant credibility for Science courses, such as BSc. The placement record is average at around 70-80%, with the top companies picking up the entire batch with average packages between INR 3.5 Lacs to INR 6 Lacs per annum. However, it may not be as highly ranked as some of the top Tier 1 colleges in the country.
