College is good, you can come here.
Placements: The highest package is 1.11 crore, and the average package is around 6-8 LPA. You can come here if you have great skills and a sharp mind. University teachers and the dean will support you, providing excellent opportunities and good placements, so there's no need to worry.
Infrastructure: Sports facilities are very good; all sports options are available. Wi-Fi and labs are well-maintained, and classrooms are also good. There are 2-3 libraries, all fully air-conditioned, creating a friendly college vibe. Visiting is also welcome.
Faculty: Teachers are very friendly and well-qualified. They will support you whenever you need help, solving your problems. There are 2 main tests each semester, along with end-term exams and lab evaluations. You will learn new things and gain valuable knowledge.
Other: There are many events and competitions daily.

Well-structured AI curriculum, excellent infrastructure, and good placement support.
Placements: Approximately 80% of students are placed. The highest package is up to 44 LPA for CSE students. The average package is 5-12 LPA, and the median package is 6 LPA. Companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Wipro, TCS, Accenture, HCL, Tech Mahindra, Adobe, and many others come for recruiting students.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are well maintained and equipped with smart boards and high-speed Wi-Fi connectivity around the campus. There are 11 labs, including special CUDA labs. The library is large and well-maintained, with over 60,000 books, journals, and much more. Hostels are also good.
Faculty: Many professors and new trainers are hired to teach us. They teach and visualize properly and also guide us in working on projects. Students are learning to be industry-ready and are given a practical approach as well. The semester exams are a little tough, but one who can focus is easy for them.
Other: Because it is the best college in Chandigarh and nearest to my home.

Chitkara University B.Tech CSE (AI) - A great learning experience with room for improvement.
Placements: At Chitkara University, B.Tech CSE placements saw top offers of rupees 1.11 crores, and average rupees 9.5 LPA. Over 1150 students placed with more than 670 recruiters like Amazon, Microsoft, and Deloitte. Internships and roles vary but AI grades get offers in data science, etc.
Infrastructure: Chitkara University has Wi-Fi, smart classrooms, AI/ML labs, and a vast library. Hostels offer clean rooms, internet, and laundry. The mess serves good food, and cafes have snacks. The medical center is also there on our campus. Sports include cricket, basketball, gym, and many more.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good with practical learning. The curriculum is industry-relevant with an AI/ML focus. Semester exams are moderate, and regular studies help. The pass percentage is high i.e., around 80-90%.
Other: I have chosen B.Tech CSE (AI) course for AI/ML scope. The best parts are hands-on projects and good faculty members. Needs more industry tie-ups. Campus hosts fests, hackathons, and clubs. Diverse crowd is there and has good diversity.

Absolutely satisfied with the staff.
Placements: In my stream, about 80% of students placed in 2024. The highest package is about 46 LPA. The lowest package is around 8 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Microsoft and Wipro. About 86% of students got internships from top most companies like JP Morgan.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are there. Wi-Fi has a very good quality network and labs have many types of equipment like test tubes, etc. Classrooms are very neat and clean. Libraries are big and we can find any kind of books. Hostel qualities are very good. The food served in the mess and canteen is good. Medical facilities are not that much good, but in the field of sports and games, it is very good.
Faculty: Teachers here are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They approach every student whenever they are stuck in any problem, they help us personally. In our university, the exams are not difficult but they are on the computer so it is good.
Other: All of us know that AI is an emerging and the most powerful branch of this world. I have chosen this course because students competition is very low in this field. I wish to improve some practical things as they tell us about theories only. Campus life fair is very good. Every month big parties are held to be remembered for a lifetime.

Partially satisfied because of good teachers but a poor student-to-teacher ratio.
Placements: The batch size for BE CSE-Ai is around 60 to 70 students. The placement record is good, with nearly 80% of students who participate in placements securing a job. The average package is 6 Lacs rupees, the highest package offered was 35 Lacs, and the lowest was 3 Lacs. Top recruiting companies include Microsoft, Tech Mahindra, Philips, Infosys, and IBM. Internships begin in the 5th semester, and 20-30% of students get internships. The top roles offered include Full Stack Developer, Software Engineer, and Data Analyst.
Infrastructure: The college facilities are decent, with good Wi-Fi. Classrooms are old-fashioned but equipped with air conditioning, though they lack proper lighting. Washrooms are often dirty and have a bad odor, and the electrical switches in classrooms don’t function properly. The common library is small, located underground, and floods during heavy rains. It has poor infrastructure with a limited number of books and journals. Hostel facilities are poor, especially the food quality, though medical services are good with 2-3 ambulances always available.
Faculty: The teachers are well-qualified, with all holding PhDs in their respective subjects. They are helpful if you show interest in studying. Some are excellent in teaching, while others are lacking. The course curriculum is relevant in some areas but doesn't fully prepare students for industry, as it lacks real-world applications. Semester exams are easy to pass, but regular study is required.
Other: The college is crowded, and the student-to-teacher ratio is poor, but there are many clubs, and college life is enjoyable.
