Chandigarh University (CU) offers entrance-based admissions for its BTech programme. Candidates are also required to meet the eligibility criteria specified by the university for BTech admission. The eligibility requirements differ across the available specialisations. For most of the specialisations, the eligibility criteria require applicants to have passed Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, and any two of these subjects: Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Computer Science/ Biology, with a minimum 50-60% aggregate. This is a common entrance exam that is applicable for admission of candidates in every stream such as Management, Humanities, Science, Commerce, Engineering, etc. To get admission to any of the courses offered at Chandigarh University, students have to apply for this exam on the official website of CUCET and appear for the exam. This exam is conducted in an online mode in two phases. For admission to any of the courses, there are two decisive factors that are considered by the university for admission.
