College with a lot of legacy.

Placements: 100% placements would happen every year for Comp & IT branches. The highest package was 28 LPA, offered by Microsoft. The lowest would be around 5.5 LPA. Average package was between 6 & 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies were Microsoft, Credit Suisse, Goldman Sachs, Caterpillar, etc. Internships were not mandatory nor were a part of the academic curriculum. However, COEP offered internship placement opportunities for the students. Most of the top placement recruiters would also recruit third year s...

Our college's NIRF ranking is 50, so it is the best college.

Placements: Almost all students got placed in this college. Percentage-wise it is less because many students start their own startup. Some of them opt for higher studies, and some try for MPSE, UPSE and GATE exams to get government jobs. However, you can get lots of opportunities here, and this college develops your overall personality. You can work on your hobbies.

It is a really good college and also one of the best government colleges in Maharashtra.

Placements: Placements are good in our college. But for planning branch, there are less placement opportunities in the core planning firms. However, for all other branches, placements are very good, and the average salary package offered is also very good. The placement cell does a good job to provide placements for every student.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good, and it is worth the money which you pay as fees. But sometimes there is a Wi-Fi issue. Apart from that, everything is good, and you get s...

Placements: Few students from our course get placed. Most of the students are pursuing their MBA or masters in a similar field. As this course is new in COEP, the percentage of students get placement is low. The planning course provides an overall knowledge of town and country planning.

LIT in Nagpur is of course famous for its courses in areas related to chemical engineering while c o e p offers all types of courses. To compare chemical engineering with metallurgical engineering is actually not correct. These are two different types of courses with perhaps different employers at the time of placements. This is so because the students choices keep changing your after year due to changes in environment and perception. However I am giving you a link that can predict the branch and the college that you can get based on the performance in MHT CET. You can keep feeling different person tiles and SEE at what percentile you can get your desired brand share and if your percentile is better than this then you can be sure of admission. https://www.shiksha.com/engineering/mht-cet-college-predictor

Unfortunately the marks which you should score to get this admission are difficult to guess since no data is available in this regard. But it's suffice to say that this college is among the top colleges of the state and hence you should be in the top 5 percentile.
Best wishes to you.
