- The CEED Registration 2026 is open for IIT Kanpur admission to the M.Des course. Without late fee, the end date to register is Oct 31, 2025. In addition, the CEED 2026 exam is scheduled for Jan 18, 2026.

IIT Kanpur BTech course fee is INR 8 Lakhs. This fee is sourced from unofficial sources. For the exact fee, students can reach out to the admission office. Students should pay the JEE Main application fee which is Rs 625 and 325 for boys and girls. JEE Advanced application fee is between 1,400 and INR 2,800.
The total tuition fees for the BTech course at IIT Kanpur is INR 8 L. Eligible students can also avail various scholarship schemes offered by the institute.

NTA announced JEE Main 2024 dates. NTA coducted the JEE Main 2024 exam in two sessions. IIT Kanpur BSc seat reservation is prescribed by the Board of Governors subject to the policy formulated from time to time by the Government of India. The seats are reserved for the SC, ST, OBC (Not belonging to Creamy Layer) and PwD (Person with Disability) category candidates.

IIT Kanpur accepts JEE Advanced and JEE Main scores for admission to BTech. Admission to all the courses is based on scores obtained in the entrance examinations such as GATE, JEE3 JAM, CEED and CAT. Along with UG and PG courses, IIT Kanpur also offers PhD in various specialisations. Selection for the same is done based on GATE scores followed by a Written Test/ Personal Interview conducted by the institute.
CAT exam usually takes place in the month of November. The registration has starts from August and the last date of application is auntil September.
