The institute offers a two-year residential MBA programme in the specialisations including Marketing, Finance, Information Systems, Operations, Human Resource Management, etc.  Candidates scoring above the minimum qualifying CAT cutoff percentile are considered for subsequent selection stages for admission to its flagship MBA programme.

DOMS IIT Roorkee accepts CAT score for admission to MBA programme. Hence, applicants cannot get a seat in MBA without CAT. Besides, the selection for PhD course is based on UGC NET, CSIR NET, GATE, etc. Aspirants applying for PhD do not require a CAT score. Through JEE Advanced ranks, candidates can secure admission to BTech courses. With regards to the admission, the IIT Roorkee cutoff 2025 has been released for the first round by the institute. The cutoff was released for different categories under the All India quota. For the General AI category candidates, the cutoff ranks varied between 535 and 16596, for different BTech/Integerated BTech/BSc/BArch courses. Among the OBC category candidates, the cutoff ranks varied between 244 and 6237. For the SC AI category candidates, the ranks varied between 121 and 3181. For last year, the closing rank for B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering was 5075 which is very close to this range. This was for general category under All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one cannot afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut offs keep changing year on year, it is advisable to try to score better ranks to increase your chances of getting admission in IIT Roorkee.
