I am satisfied with the faculty and placements of IIT BHU but its infrastructure is still lagging.
Placements: Placement offered in our senior branch was great and almost everyone got placed. Most of them were placed in core companies like Qualcomm, Intel, NXP, Samsung and TI. The highest package offered to our senior was 30 lacs INR and the minimum was around 8 lacs.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is one of the field where IIT BHU lacks behind in comparison to other IITs because first, its a old college which was managed by BHU so due to some internal politics the infrastructure of the college is lagging behind. Hostel is too old and need renovation.
Faculty: Teachers here are qualified and knowledgeable and teaching quality is also great. The course curriculum is great since its an IIT. But if we compare other IIT it is still lagging behind and a lot of work needs to be done. Overall the quality is average.
Other: Since I am really into electronics engineering and wanted to pursue higher studies so I have chose this course.
