Placements: 1. 70% of students were placed.
2. The highest - 10lakhs per annum, the lowest - 3lakhs per annum, Average - 6lakhs per annum.
3. Infosys, Accenture, Wipro are the top recruiting companies for my course.
4. Electrical engineer, Electronics engineer, IT consultant, Manufacturing systems engineer are the top roles offered in my course.
5. The highest - 10lakhs per annum, the lowest - 3lakhs per annum, Average - 6lakhs per annum.
6. 30% of students got internship in Infosys, 25% of students got internship in Accenture and 15% of students got internship in Wipro.
Infrastructure: 1. The facilities and infrastructure available in my department is average. Wi-Fi connection is not available in my department, Labs are available in my department and they are well maintained, Classrooms are properly maintained in my department, Library is maintained properly my department.
2. The facilities in my hostel is the worst, the quality of food in mess and canteen is average, medical facilities are very worse, the quality of sports and games are very nice.
Faculty: 1. The teachers are well trained. They were very helpful to us. They were knowledgeable. They are well qualified. The teaching quality of the teachers is very good.
2. Yes, this course curriculum is relevant. It makes the students ready for the industry.
Other: 1. I chose this course because of my own interest.
2. Nothing needs improvement.
3. All events and fests are good.

It is a good college in terms of maintaining discipline and providing placements and food.
Placements: From the 2019 batch, around 70%-75 % of eligible students from our course (students who are enrolled for placement training) were placed. The highest salary package offered was 10 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 1.8 LPA. The average salary package offered was 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course were Wipro, Infosys, MRF, Amazon and many software as well as our core companies. Our college has been inviting a lot of top companies for recruitment, but students have to be prepared according to the companies expectations.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good, but the campus would be flooded when there will be heavy rains. Labs are well-equipped, and the library is good. Our college also has one of the biggest auditoriums in Chennai. The hostel facility is average, but the quality of the food served is good. Our college has a good medical facility.
Faculty: Teachers here are qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is good, and they are very friendly and helpful except for a few teachers. Our college is affiliated to Anna University, so it follows Anna University course curriculum. Students can be industrial ready by doing implant training and internships.
Other: I have chosen this course (EEE) because I am interested in the electrical domain. The demand for this course will never become low. By this course, you can also learn coding since it deals with electronics.

I am very much satisfied with our faculty, college environment and food, placement cell is good.
Placements: Around 75% of the students got placed. The average salary offered is around Rs. 25,000 per month. Infosys, TCS, Amazon and Hexaware are the top recruiting companies. The top roles offered is a programme developer. The salary package offered in our course is 1.25-4.5 LPA. Almost 60% of the students got an internship in many reputed companies. Most of the students got placed in IT sectors and some core fields.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and the college environment are average. It enhances us to improve our basic skills and academic records. The classes and auditorium are average with suitable equipment and according to the student's necessary and comforts. The hostel food is average and hygienic, but its quality and quantity are good.
Faculty: Teachers here help to develop our academics, and they are very friendly towards students. This course provides a great future to many inventions and developed many engineering facts around the world in electrical engineering domain such as transformers, substations, power generation, etc.
Other: I choose this course because of my interest in the electrical field. I wish to improve many practical observations for students. They have conducted many workshops and symposium related to our course.

Jeppiaar engineering college review.
Placements: The placements in the college campus have come down in the recent years when compared to past few years. But still, good companies are entering and picking students. The expectations of the company are kept in mind, and placement training is provided accordingly.
Infrastructure: The campus infrastructure is good when compared to most of the other engineering colleges. Trees and plants are around the campus providing a pleasant surrounding and atmosphere. The laboratories are present in every department separately. The library here consists of more than 30,000 books, and computer access is also allowed.
Faculty: The teaching staffs are friendly and are loaded with knowledge. Though not in the classroom, personally they clarify doubts and tune and motivate students to do projects and paper presentation. The college is affiliated to Anna University and the portions for the newly joined 1st years has been changed.
Other: Workshops, industrial visits and the other events are regularly conducted. The internship training is also arranged by the department since they have MOU with many companies.

Excellent infrastructure, great hostel, faculty needs improvement, decent placements.
Placements: Placements are on an average level. About 30-40% of students get placed. The salary offered is almost always below 5 lakhs per annum. Most placements are from IT companies like Infosys and Wipro. The placement percentage is very less for a college with such world-class infrastructure.
Infrastructure: It has a top-class infrastructure and almost every equipment is available in labs, even very expensive ones which are not usually present in many colleges. All classrooms are digital with computers and projectors. A very good facilities team is there which addresses any issue with utmost care. Hostel rooms are of the best quality but no air-conditioning available in the hostel. All hostel rooms have 2 attached bathrooms. Great food is served and non-veg food served in the hostel on 6 days of the week. A great infrastructure is available for basketball. Multiple fiber and hard courts available for basketball. A decent infrastructure is available for tennis, badminton, football, cricket, volleyball and kho-kho. A pharmacy facility is available with medical help available 24x7 and a doctor visits the hostel daily. The only issue I faced was that the campus gets flooded during heavy rains and the drainage is poor. But the facilities team usually clears that up within a day.
Faculty: A classroom usually has about 50-75 students. All classrooms are digital. Hence, the faculty members can use a variety of digital artifacts in teaching. The curriculum followed is set by Anna University. But the overall teaching quality is very poor. Most of the faculty members are just qualified with an M.E and there is an acute shortage of faculty members with higher qualification. Also, industrial exposure is almost zero. Students have to arrange for industrial internships/training on their own with zero help from the college. Even getting the necessary documents to attend the training from the college is a very tedious process.
