It has very good infrastructure, placements and faculty members.

Placements: About 90% of students got placed in our course. Our college brings many companies for recruitment, which offers different packages from 3 LPA to 7 LPA. We get an internship every academic year. Our class students got internships in Walmart and Zoho companies.

Infrastructure: The hostel facilities are very good, and the food available in the canteen is very good. We have inter-department competitions in our college, and the winners for the sports day are awarded. The canteen provides evening snacks as well.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful with our studies by giving notes and making us knowledgeable. The difficulty level of semester exams varies from subject to subject. In my opinion, it is moderate for me, for all the subjects. Every subject is understandable by doing the practicals.

Other: I chose this course since it has a good scope, and I like to work in the IT sector.

Meenakshi is definitely a good college, provided if you are able to cope up with the college ethic.

Placements: The Placements like Infosys, TCS, CTS picked up students with CGPA greater out equal to 8 at the end of 6 semesters. Usually, the interviews happen during the seventh semester. There is a placement cell in the college which helps students crack the interviews. All needed is, be a part of the college and self-interest to excel and start your professional career.

Infrastructure: The Infrastructure is above average. College provides all needs for a computer Science students. Computer Science department can still improve in a lot of areas like bringing in the latest computers making available. The students with good tech machines and with constructive advice.

Faculty: The college follows Anna university Chennai curriculum as it is affiliated to Anna University. The faculty is above average. It all depends on the interests of the students to learn. Faculty in any college nowadays are not up to the mark. So it all boils down to the interests of the student to excel in his specialisation.

Good college and good future.

Placements: Placement was good indeed. About 90% students were placed in our batch, but still, 75% students get good companies. The highest salary offered is 6 lakh per annum and the lowest salary is 3 lakh per annum. Companies that visited our college are 4 core companies and many service based companies. Service based companies are CTS, Infosys and Accenture. Many of them got a system engineer profile. 60% students got internships. The highest stipend offered is 20000 and the lowest stipend is 10000.

Infrastructure: Labs will be good with high configuration computers. No Wi-Fi in the college campus. The library allows you to take 3 books. The library will have magazines, books, novels and dictionaries. Sports day occurs once in a year where various departments take part in matches. Many games are played like cricket, football, volleyball, basketball etc. There will be one canteen for the college. Rates will be moderate and also, the food is moderate.

Faculty: Faculty members were good. They have great experience in teaching. They were helpful. They used to teach the concepts and try to implement them in laboratories. Every semester, there is an industrial visit so that we can get industry exposure. The course curriculum was very good and I learnt a lot of things.

Poor facilities, supportive faculty and good placements.

Placements: Placements are currently on the go for the final year batch, but as of now, 12 to 15 companies have already visited for campus recruitment, mostly IT and a few others related to other domains. There is a placement cell consisting of a couple of senior staff and student representatives from each department trying their best to invite companies in their respective core. As a result of extraordinary training in general aptitude from reputed third party coaching institutes, more than 90 percent of students got placed in the initial bunch. The majority of the offers being around 3 to 4 LPA, there were certain packages, the so-called dream offers, of 4.5 to 6LPA. Around 15 to 20 percent were lucky enough to get internship offers from various companies where they got a chance to carry out their final year project along with a decent stipend offered. Also, about 5 to 10 companies have invited students for off-campus drives which also led to a good number of students getting placed.

Infrastructure: A warranted reason for joining college would be its proximity from home, at least in an overcrowded city such as Chennai, however, there are factors that could hinder this choice. You walk into the college expecting an infrastructure comparable to other colleges you've set your eyes on, and it leaves a frown on your face; broken gate, sand everywhere, no decent parking for cars and even bikes! A small campus, should make everything easier right? Wrong! Broken walls, washrooms will have stagnant water and human excreta, fans that work on a moody basis and water never comes when you need it the most. Mobile phones are strictly not allowed in classrooms at any cost and you cannot expect wifi facility. However, sports enthusiasts can have a smile on the face as there is a considerably large ground for track events and other sports. But the sad part is they are always occupied on rent by people outside. There is a small canteen with somewhat average food priced normally. Hostel facility is available only for male students. However, there are few restrictions on not leaving without any permission and not to use laptops without bringing to notice.

Faculty: The curriculum is that of all affiliated Anna University colleges. The college semesters are genuinely much longer, they reopen colleges much before the start date. To add to this, even though they imply that colleges get over by the closing date, they hold "extra classes". Worst of all, it's college for 8 hours, 6 days a week. And the weekend will have to be spent doing a bunch of assignments and record work. One can rarely expect an industrial visit to be held in a year and they usually do not permit a visit to a distant place. During the first and second year of the course, they were a good balance in the student-faculty ratio but it went worse when more than a couple of faculty members left their jobs in a short period.

Other: Despite the ill facts, the best thing is that there is absolutely no ragging, no bullying. The sense of unity among juniors and seniors is stronger than most colleges. The college helps boost your grades, stay on the good side of your faculty and HOD, and college will be a cake walk.
