NIPER JEE 2026 dates have not been released so far. It has also not been decided so far who will conduct the NIPER JEE 2026 exam. As per previous year details, the authorities might begin NIPER JEE 2025 registration tentatively in April 2026. Every year, a NIPER institute conducts the exam. In the last two years, NIPER SAS Nagar and NIPER Guwahati conducted the NIPER JEE exam consecutively. The exam conducting authorities will release a notification along with the registration window. Students who want to appear in the exam are advised to fill out the NIPER JEE application form, upload documents, and pay fees. The authorities will release NIPER 2026 registration link on website at niper.gov.in.

All those students who will fill out the form correctly will be issued the NIPER JEE admit card. While preparing for the exam, students are advised to have an idea about the NIPER JEE exam pattern and syllabus, which will help them to qualify for the exam in the best possible way.  After the conclusion of the exam, the authorities will declare the NIPER JEE 2026 result within one month.

NIPER JEE exam is being conducted for taking admissions into MPharma, MTech, MBA, and PHD programmes across various NIPER institutes.

About NIPER JEE 2026

NIPER JEE 2026 is a gateway for admission to MPharma, MBA in Pharmaceutical Management, and M.Tech in Pharmaceutical Management courses. The NIPER JEE exam is conducted and organised by the NIPER individual institutes every year on a rotation basis. After the announcement of the result, NIPER JEE counselling for the MPharma programme will be concluded by any of the NIPER institutes for admission to NIPER MPharma campuses.

The exam duration is 2 hours, and it will be conducted in English. The NIPER exam pattern comprises 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Each correct answer is awarded one mark, and there’s a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer. NIPER institutions will offer 990 seats this year across all its branches: NIPER (Mohali), NIPER Raebareli, NIPER Kolkata, NIPER Ahmedabad, NIPER Hajipur, and NIPER Guwahati. Candidates must choose from the various exam centres carefully and follow their convenience because there is no scope for changing the centre later.

Q:   Is GPAT necessary for admission in NIPER?
A: 

No, for admission to NIPER institutes, it is important for candidates to appear for their personalised entrance exam which is NIPER JEE. Interested candidates will be able to seek admission to post-graduate level course such as MS (Pharma) /MPharm/ M.Tech. (Pharma). GPAT exam is another national-level post-graduate level pharmacy entrance exam required for admission to 800 participating institutes across India. Unlike NIPER, it is conducted by National Testing Agency NTA from 2018. Prior to NTA AICTE used to conduct the GPAT exam.

Q:   What is the fee for NIPER JEE?

The NIPER JEE admission fees are divided into two parts, A and B. The fees for part A is the same for both General and EWS category candidates, which is INR 52,496. While for part B it varies general students it is INR 53, 328 while for SC/ST it is INR 27,306.

 

Q:   Who will conduct the NIPER exam 2026?
A: 

NIPER JEE exam will be conducted by any of the NIPER institutes. So far it has not been released that which NIPER institute will conduct NIPER JEE 2026 exam. The authorities will release the notification on their official website mentioing the details about the exam. 

Q:   Will NIPER JEE be conducted twice a year?

National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), which is the conducting body for the NIPER exam, has received a lot of requests from the aspirants to conduct the examination twice a year. Q:   What are the courses for which NIPER JEE exam is conducted?

The NIPER JEE exam is conducted once a year. There are various courses for which the NIPER JEE 2026 exam will be conducted; the list of the courses is mentioned below:

Q:   How many seats are there for which NIPER JEE exam is to be conducted?

The exact number of seats in the NIPER JEE 2026 exam is released in the official notification. Last year, there were around 1000 seats for which the NIPER JEE exam was conducted. This year, the number may increase or decrease depending on the total number of seats available in NIPER institutes. 

Q:   How many times can I appear for the NIPER JEE exam?

According to the notification released by NIPER, a candidate can appear for NIPER JEE multiple times. There is no restriction on the number of attempts. However, in the one academic year, a candidate is allowed to appear only once. As there is no upper age limit to enroll for the M.Pharma courses, therefore, a candidate can appear for the NIPER JEE exam multiple times.

Q:   Does NIPER allow for any relaxation in eligibility criteria for SC/ST candidates?
A: 

NIPER allows Relaxation in CGPA to 6.25 (on a 10-point scale) or in marks to 55% or equivalent in the eligibility criteria is allowed for SC and ST candidates. It also allows  relaxation in eligibility requirement of CGPA to 5.75 (on a 10-point scale) or to 50% marks or equivalent to the Physically handicapped (PH) candidates.

According to the conducting body, the centres are subject to adjustment if sufficient registrations are not observed in a specific city. Furthermore, the conducting body would not have a travel allowance (TA) or a regular allowance (DA) if a candidate travels. Q:   How are NIPER JEE exam centres alloted?
A: 

The exam centres of NIPER JEE 2026 are being alloted after the completion of the application form. Candidates are advised to choose 3 the nearest NIPER JEE cities as the preferred centres carefully. The exam centre is allotted based on the preference and the availability of the centres.

Q:   In case I forget to carry the NIPER JEE admit card to the exam center, will I get an entry by showing it on mobile phone?
A: 

No, it is mandatory to carry the hard copy of the NIPER JEE admit card as, without it, entry to the exam centre will not be allowed. A digital admit card will not be accepted. Aspirants are required to carry their admit card to the test centre along with original and valid photo identification (no photocopy/scanned copy/ expired ID is permitted). Aspirants can carry one of the following IDs: Driving License, Passport, PAN Card, Voter ID, Aadhaar UID, College ID, Employee Identification Card or Ration Card.

Q:   When should I reach the NIPER JEE exam centre?
A: 

Applicants must reach atleast 1 hour before the exam. Candidates will not be given any TA/DA to appear in the NIPER JEE exam centre.  

 

 

Q:   How many exam centres will the NIPER JEE exam be conducted in?
A: 

The exam conducting authorities releases the actual number of NIPER JEE exam centres in the official notification only while as per the previous year details there will be 20 exam centre cities where exam is being conducted. The actual number of exam centres will be notified after form filling as it will vary on the students.

How to Fill NIPER JEE 2026 Application Form?

The authorities have not released NIPER JEE registration dates so far. But as per trends, NIPER Institute will begin the application process tentatively in April 2026. Students will be allowed to fill out the NIPER JEE application form on the website of NIPER. The application form will be available online till the last date. The step by step process to fill out the NIPER application form in online mode is given below.

  • Visit website of NIPER, niper.gov.in
  • Click on the registration link and create a new user ID and password
  • Log in to their accounts by clicking the link sent to the registered email ID after the registration process.
  • Students have to provide all the details in the application form, such as Name, Address, Date of Birth, Father’s Name, Category, and Subject applied for.
  • After filling out the application form, candidates must pay the application fee.
  • The application fee is payable via Credit or Debit card, Net Banking, or e-Challan
  • A confirmation page will appear after the payment is done, and candidates now have to submit and initiate a digital signature.
  • Upload photo ID proof and address proof, 10th and 12th Mark sheets, reservation certificate (if applicable), medical certificate (if applying under the handicapped category), valid GATE, GPAT, or NET scorecard (if applicable), and passport-sized photograph along with the digital signature.

NIPER JEE 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Students must carefully read the eligibility requirements before filling out the application form. Only those who meet the eligibility requirements will be considered eligible for admission to NIPER institutions' master's and doctoral programmes. Below are the basic competencies that make a candidate eligible:

  • He/She should have a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or an equivalent programme or a Master’s degree in the corresponding programme according to the course they seek to apply for.
  • Students should have secured 60 percent or 6.75 GPA (55 percent or 6.25 CGPA for SC /ST and 50 percent or 5.75 GPA for PH students) in aggregate in the qualifying exam.
  • NIPER exam candidates should also have a valid GATE/NET or GPAT score

NIPER JEE 2026 Exam Pattern

The National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research releases the NIPER JEE exam pattern in an official notification only. It comprises vital information such as the mode of examination, the language in which the exam is conducted, etc. It is a two-hour-long, computer-based examination comprising 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Each correct response is awarded 0.5 marks, and 0.125 marks are deducted for each incorrect response as per the exam pattern of NIPER JEE. All the MCQs are asked in the English language only. Students who are not satisfied with the result of NIPER JEE need to reapply for the exam next year.

NIPER JEE Counselling Process 2026

NIPER JEE 2026 counselling process: 

Along with releasing the results, NIPER institutes will release the NIPER JEE counseling schedule in June 2026. The counselling schedule for MS/M. Pharm and M.Tech programmes will be notified separately. For the MBA programme, the interview and counselling schedule will be out separately. The shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an interview and group discussion. A new merit list will be published based on the combined marks of the online exam, interview, and community discussion. Candidates who are shortlisted will be able to engage in counselling. Candidates will be asked to fill out their college preferences during the counselling.

  • Mark sheets of all semesters/ years of the qualifying degree

The NIPER JEE 2026 application form will be available in April 2026 tentatively. The registration window will open for a period of more than 30 days. Candidates will be able to fill the application form online in order to appear for the exam. The application fee must be paid online as per the payment method directed by the exam conducting body. 

Q:   What documents do I need to upload in the NIPER JEE application form?

The documents required to be uploaded on the online application portal at the time of filling the NIPER JEE 2026 are mentioned below:

A recent passport size photograph, full signatures and academic documents along with caste certificates if applicable. Both files should be in JPEG format below 70 KB JPEG. Candidates are advised to take out the printout of the filled application form for future reference. The application process will be organised and managed at niperguwahati.ac.in.

Q:   Is registration fee same for MBA, MPharma and M.Tech programmes in NIPER JEE?

No. Students can appear for the NIPER JEE counselling only ONLINE. Only institute reporting is conducted in offline mode to confirm the admission.
