AP PGECET 2026 application form: Andhra Pradesh University registrations are ongoing, and the last date to submit form with late fee of INR 10000 is April 1, 2026. AP PGECET 2026 form correction window will be activated on April 3. Candidates can visit official website and submit their form before due date. AP PGECET dates have been announced. The computer-based test will be held on the scheduled dates - April 28, 29, and 30 for 13 papers. 

To apply, candidates must meet AP PGECET eligibility criteria. Candidates must hold Indian nationality with Andhra Pradesh domicile and a Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline with a minimum qualifying mark. The AP PGECET registration fee (non-refundable) is INR 1200 for OC category, INR 900 for BC category, and INR 700 for SC/ST and PH category.

AP PGECET 2026 Eligibility

Candidates who want to apply for AP PGECET 2026 must check go through the eligibility first. The AP PGECET exam eligibility can be checked below -

  • The nationality of the applicant must be Indian
  • They should belong to Andhra Pradesh state. One must fulfil the local/non-local status requirements as per the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
  • Must have completed bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks (45% marks for reserved category) from a recognised AICTE/UGC institution or university.
  • Final year students were also eligible for AP PGECET admission
Admissions to 85% seats are reserved for local applicants and remaining 15% of the seats are for un-reserved seats as per the Government of India norms

Steps to fill AP PGECET Application Form

Authorities released AP PGECET application form 2026 online at sche.ap.gov.in/pgecet. Candidates must submit their form before due date. Also, one must check their eligibility carefully before filling form. Here are some important instructions and guidelines that one must go through before registering for Andhra Pradesh PGECET

While filling application form of AP PGECET, candidates need to provide following details. Thus, students must keep following information handy -

  • Qualifying exam details
  • Hall ticket number
  • SSC or 10th class hall ticket number
  • Places of study from 9th class onwards
  • Caste category - Mee Seva certificate number
  • Income certificate - Mee Seva certificate number
  • Good quality passport- size photograph following exam guidelines
  • Scanned image of signature in black pen on white paper
  • Ration card of the family
  • Aadhar card (mandatory)

Note: Candidates who are willing to apply for more than one test paper at AP PGECET must register in same application form and pay required fees. 

How to fill AP PGECET 2026 Application Form?

Candidates can follow the process below to fill Andhra Pradesh PGECET application form-

Pay fee for AP PGECET exam

To be eligible for registration, it is compulsory to pay the application fee first. The mode of payment is online and different for all categories. Candidates can check details below -

  • for unreserved category - INR 1200
  • for OBC/EWS category - INR 900
  • for SC/ST category - INR 700

Candidates can also make the payment for the form with late fees of INR 500/INR 2000/INR 5000 as late fee with different deadlines. 

Check Payment Status

After the completion of payment, students must check their status by using their login credentials. It must be noted that, candidates can fill form only after payment. In case, the amount is credited but does not reflect on the dashboard, then it will be credited back within a few days. 

Fill Online AP PGECET 2026 Application Form

  • Enter mobile number, qualifying degree hall ticket number, date of birth, and payment ID to register themselves
  • Fill personal, educational qualification, and other information correctly
  • Upload a recent passport-size photograph with signature following exam guidelines.
  • Lastly, enter at least 5 test cities as per preferences and submit

Submit and Print the Andhra Pradesh PGECET application form

Once application form is submitted, students must take printout of form and keep it safe till completion of admission process. The printout of the application form will be required at the time of counselling as well.

No, candidates must pay their AP PGECET application form online only. No payment in cash is accepted. Modes of AP PGECET registration fee payment include - credit carrd/debit card/net banking and UPI. 

Q:   What if my Andhra Pradesh PGECET application fee is deducted but I did not receive a Payment ID?
A: 

If in case, the amount is deducted from your bank account but you did not receive a "Payment ID", then it is advised to wait for few hours and then check for the payment status. If you still did not receive any "Payment ID" then pay the fee next day to proceed. Make sure to keep the fee receipt safe till the Andhra Pradesh PGECET admission process. Any amount deducted will be refunded in two to three days.

  • Documents must be scanned properly

AP PGECET Application Form Correction

The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education will activate AP PGECET 2026 form correction facility on its official website after the registration process. Candidates who have filled application form will be able to access correction facillity. The correction facility date is April 3.

The AP PGECET correction will be available in two categories - Category 1 and 2

To make changes in AP PGECET registration form, students had to login, enter their details and make changes based on their requirement. The following changes were accepted during form correction facility -

Qualifying exam year non-minority/minority
medium of instruction in qualifying exam annual income of parents
Place of Study study details
Mother's name SSC hall ticket number

Yes, as per guidelines it is mandatory to download Andhra Pradesh PGECET hall ticket. It is because, admit card will have all necessary details about exam and personal information. On exam day, students have to carry their hall ticket with a valid ID proof for scrutiny process.
