GPAT Exam Centre 2026: The NBEMS informed the candidates about the allotted exam centre through the release of GPAT admit card 2026. Applicants who filled out the application form were issued the GPAT admit card in online mode. Candidates could download their GPAT hall tickets 2026 now to know the allotted exam centre. The GPAT exam centres were located across 114 exam cities where the exam was conducted in CBT mode.

The NBE released the GPAT city intimation slip 2026 on February 24, 2026 on the official website natboard.edu.in. The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) released the GPAT exam city list 2026 in the information bulletin. Candidates were given the choice to pick and choose 4 preferred test cities at the time of filling out the GPAT application form.

The list of GPAT exam city 2026 is shared below as published in the information bulletin. The GPAT exam centre are located in these cities. Due to the limited number of seats at the exam centres, candidates are allotted their desired exam centres on a 'first-come-first-served' basis. Hence, candidates are advised to register and submit the GPAT application form accordingly. Applicants who want to appear in the exam can check the exam centre list below-

Q:   Can I show the GPAT admit card at the exam centre from my phone?
A: 
No. It is mandatory for a candidate to have a hard copy of their admit card and carry it to the exam centre. No electronic devices are allowed while appearing for the exam. It is mentioned in the guidelines of NTA that the GPAT admit card hard copy is mandatory to be presented at the time of appearing in the exam. The hard copy/print out of the GPAT admit card is the only valid proof of identification and verification which is acceptable at the GPAT test centre. Candidates failing to produce the GPAT admit card at the test centre in hard copy format will not be allowed to centre the test centre.
Q:   Can I choose the exam centre for the GPAT exam?
A: 

Yes. Candidates can select the GPAT test centre at the time of registration. Three choices will be given to choose the test centre city. The entrance exam will be held in 110 exam cities in India. Candidates can choose any three preferred exam cities as per their convenience and proximity to their hometown.

Q:   How many test centres can I select for GPAT exam?
A: 

Candidates must select 3 preferred test cities from the available choices. The test centres are allotted on first come first serve basis. It is mandatory to select three test centers from which NBEMS will allot the test centre location. The final decision rests with the exam conducting authorities. Candidates cannot make changes cities chosen while getting registered. Therefore, select the test cities carefully.

GPAT City Intimation Slip 2026

To ensure that candidates can appear for the national-level MPharma entrance exam, NBEMS designates test centres in every state and popular cities spread across India. The NBE first informs candidates about the test centre cities through the release of GPAT city intimation slip. Candidates could download the GPAT exam city slip 2026 using the process shared below-

  • Enter the login details.
  • Download the city intimation slip.

The GPAT City of Examination once chosen and allotted cannot be changed (after the closing of the correction window), and any request in this regard will not be entertained. NBEMS will allocate the examination centre in the chosen city.

Candidates need to contact the administrative authorities in such situations. However, it is not possible to change the GPAT exam centre once the choices are locked and entered. Even at the stage of GPAT application correction, candidates do not get the option to change the GPAT exam centre.

Q:   What is the reporting time of the GPAT test centre?
A: 

The reporting time of the GPAT test center varies on year-on-year basis. As the exam will be conducted in two shifts, first one in the morning session from 9 am to 12 noon and the second from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm, therefore, the reporting time will be mentioned on the GPAT admit card. It is mandatory for the candidates to be present at the test centre at the reporting time mentioned on their admit card.

Q:   By when a candidate need to reach the GPAT exam centre?
A: 

Students who are planning to appear in the GPAT exam must note that normally the GATE opens around 2 hours before the entry to the examination hall. However one must reach to the GPAT 2026 exam centre atleast half n hour (30 minutes) before so that one can get settle and prepare before appearin in the exam.
