No. It is mandatory for a candidate to have a hard copy of their admit card and carry it to the exam centre. No electronic devices are allowed while appearing for the exam. It is mentioned in the guidelines of NTA that the GPAT admit card hard copy is mandatory to be presented at the time of appearing in the exam. The hard copy/print out of the GPAT admit card is the only valid proof of identification and verification which is acceptable at the GPAT test centre. Candidates failing to produce the GPAT admit card at the test centre in hard copy format will not be allowed to centre the test centre.

Students who are planning to appear in the GPAT exam must note that normally the GATE opens around 2 hours before the entry to the examination hall. However one must reach to the GPAT 2026 exam centre atleast half n hour (30 minutes) before so that one can get settle and prepare before appearin in the exam. 

The reporting time of the GPAT test center varies on year-on-year basis. As the exam will be conducted in two shifts, first one in the morning session from 9 am to 12 noon and the second from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm, therefore, the reporting time will be mentioned on the GPAT admit card. Candidates who successfully completed the GPAT registration process by paying the application fee are able to download the GPAT hall ticket 2026.

GPAT 2025 admit card comprises the candidate's photograph and signature. If, in case, there is no photograph on the GPAT admit card, candidates are advised to contact the help centre and get the mistake rectified. It is important to check if the GPAT admit card carries your photograph for the purpose of verification at the time of entry in the test centre. Candidates will also have to carry a valid photo ID proof having the same photograph as provided on the GPAT admit card.
