Students having valid scores in entrance exams will be shortlisted for the counselling process. After the completion of the counselling process, students will be required to complete the final admission process, i.e. document verification and tuition fee payment for final seat allotment. JEE Main rank is accepted by both DTU and IIT Delhi, followed by the JAC Delhi counselling process for admission to various BTech specialisations. According to the JAC Delhi Round 1 cutoff 2025, the closing rank for CSE admission for the General AI category was 2285. While for IIT Delhi it was 8171.

Therefore, going by the cutoff for both institutions, IIT Delhi is relatively easier for CSE admissions. Although those candidates who qualified for DTU can view other parameters to consider for a better, more knowledgeable decision.

If your Class 12 marks were only 60%, it is very difficult to get into NSIT for a B.Tech programme unless you are in one of the reserved categories. 

For B.Tech admission, NSIT has very high cut-offs based on JEE Main rankings.Cutoffs for General category students typically fall below rank 2000, requiring a JEE Main score of 99+ percentile.

The cut-off ranks for reserved SC, ST, and OBC categories are less than 10,000, necessitating a 95+ percentile.
Therefore, earning 60% on your 12th board exam is insufficient. You need to have a very high JEE Main rank.
The eligibility requirements of 60% are merely the minimum. The 12th grade is not directly taken into account for admission by NSIT.To have a chance in the General category with 60% in the 12th grade, you would need a JEE Main rank below 500.
