The cutoff ranks for BTech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering 2022 at NIT Warangal other than General category was - 16530 for OBC, 1430 for SC, 590 for ST, 14856 for EWS, and 266 for PWD. NIT Warangal MSc is a two-year duration programme offered in three specialisations. National Institute of Technology, Warangal MSc admission is entrance-based and depends on candidates' performance in Joint Admission Test (JAM). It is an all-India-level online entrance exam conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology (IITs) every year on a rotational basis.
Candidates receive a refund of caution deposit, hostel fee and mess advance after deduction of INR 5,000 and mess charges, if any on cancellation of admission before the date of commencement of class work at NIT Warangal.
For cancellation on or after the date of commencement of class work, caution deposit and mess advance is refunded. Hostel is not refundable.
NIT Warangal offers a two-year MCA course. Candidates interested in applying to the course must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- A minimum of 60% aggregate in graduation
- In case of CGPA, a minimum of 6.5/10 is required
- Candidates from the reserved categories are given a concession of 5% in the minimum aggregate required in graduation

Yes, it is mandatory to pass the PI round conducted by NIT Warangal for admission in MBA. Those who are selected on the basis of CAT/ MAT scores are further called for PI round for final selection. The college prepares the final merit list based on performance of the candidates in both entrance test and personal interaction rounds.
The closing rank 2022 for BTech in Electronics and Communication Engineering was 6804, which is very close to this range. This was for the General category under the All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one cannot afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cutoffs keep changing year on year, it is advisable to try to score better ranks to increase your chances of getting admission to NIT Warangal.
NIT Warangal EWS cutoff 2026 ranged from 554 to 8421 in the first round. Hence, EWS HS category students need to attain a rank of at least 8421 to be qualified for admission in the first round.
For the EWS AI quota, the round 1 cutoff ranged from 402 to 4766. In both quotas, the most competitive BTech course branch was CSE.

Yes, JEE Main is mandatory for BTech admission in NIT Warangal. Only those candidates who pass the JEE Main exam and attend JoSAA counselling are eligible for BTech course admission.
