I had the best two years of my life from this college.
Placements: Placements provided to the students of masters are not that appreciable in comparison to the bachelors, but the opportunities are present indubitably. It would require hard work and due diligence to bag those opportunities amid cut-throat competition, with hectic academic routine. The salary package offered was around 6 LPA, with some going to 7 LPA to 8 LPA. Generally, companies like General Electric and Oracle visit our college to hire M.Tech graduates. There are several engineering colleges based in South India as well, which would come to hire assistant professors.
Infrastructure: This institute has everything that a student can ask for and much more. In the first few weeks, I had an overwhelming feeling, and then after getting acclimatised, it is prideful being a part of something which is magnificent. Hostel rooms are comfy and stylish in design, with double occupancy for the first year in masters. Internet connectivity is available in every hostel room, except in the MBA hostel.
Faculty: The curriculum of every subject is detailed and taught with great vivacity by excessively qualified professors having numerous conference and journal papers. They would constantly push you to achieve the same level of proficiency as well. All the lectures are administered through powerpoint slides in a compact and useful way which helps us in preparing for the exams since they usually mail us those presentations as study materials. Overall, it is a gratifying academic experience.
Other: Our college is spread over 400-acres. Every year, two fests named Tathva and Ragam are held in our college. Other than that, there are plenty of hangout places in our college. It is a smooth transition from boring school or college life to a great one. Our college is located 45 minutes away from Calicut city. The campus surrounding areas are full of food, garment outlets, and other necessities.
