Great placements with good academics.

Placements: Placement is the reason why the most students want to join in IIT. The campus placement companies provide a good package. IIT, Roorkee ranked 4th in placements in the 1st season of placements in Dec 2017 amongst all IITs, with companies like Microsoft, Samsung, Flipkart, Goldman Sach etc. giving more than 30 LPA. So, this college provides good placement opportunities.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is great with 24*7 library facility and the highest internet speed amongst all IITs. Great sports clubs and good encouraging coach staff for different sports are present. So, this college not only focuses on the academic things but rather the overall improvement of an individual. You have to join at least one group amongst many, providing you to have good friends and good teamwork. Canteens are open at all the time in some hostels.

Faculty: As you know it is an IIT, the faculty here are extremely well qualified, and they can ensure that after graduation you will be able to do works needed by the organisation in which you will be placed. They will help you in academics, as well as they can guide you. There are many things that I can say, but I summarise, it is worth spending time here.
