This college is the best in main branch courses.
Placements: The highest salary package was 12 LPA, and the lowest salary package was 5 LPA. Almost 95% of students were placed. Many students got placements in MNCs. Many students try off-campus placements for higher salary packages, but this college gives the best advice and support to the students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was very good and the campus was on the outskirts of the city. All facilities like medical, sports, games, canteen, mess, laundry, etc., were available for students. Wi-Fi was available to hostel students, and also for the library facility was available. Laboratories were well maintained and fully equipped. Classrooms and library were well maintained and fully furnished. The library was well established and fully loaded with books.
Faculty: Teachers were very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They teach with full responsibility and enthusiasm. The course curriculum was fully relevant, and makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams were appropriate for student's knowledge polishing, and the student's industry experience needs.
Other: M.Tech in structural engineering was the best for civil branch students because candidates had higher job placements scope. Events, fests, campus crowd, connectivity, campus surroundings, scholarship, extracurricular activities, etc., were appropriate.

NITT provides good facilities, infrastructure, and fests.
Placements: Placements in our college are very good for B.Tech students. M.Tech placements depend on your specialisation. Our institute has a tradition that seniors have to train junior students regarding placements. Placements and salary package are good for software branches like CS, IT, EXTC etc. The salary package offered for non-software branches is average. For structural engineering, companies like Afcon, L&T, Tata Motors, TT, Stoop, L&W, Rolls Royal visited our campus for placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is upgrading day by day due to TEQIP and central funds. Octagon is a centralised computer lab, equipped with many facilities like recent software, Wi-Fi. Classrooms are equipped with projectors, and the labs are modernised nowadays. The entire campus is provided with Wi-Fi. The centralised Apollo hospital is for medical facilities of students at negligible costs. The mess is good, and the hostel facility is good.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are PhD holders in respective discipline. The teaching quality is good. They teach through blackboards as well as PPT presentations. The student to faculty ratio is poor. We get industrial exposure as industrial training is part of our course. The course curriculum is well defined.
Other: The institute organises cultural fest named Festember, and technical fest called Pragyaan. There is a sports fest during the winter season. The campus is about 20 km away from Trichy city. All facilities like restaurants, general stores, etc., are available on the campus only.
