An honest review of NIT Jamshedpur.

Placements: There is too much good placement in CSE of NIT Jamshedpur. In our college, almost 85% of graduating students get placed every year. The average package offered is 18.00 LPA for the 2024 graduating batch. Top recruiting companies are Google, Microsoft, De Shaw, etc. In my course, almost 80% get placed in the 2024 year. Almost 25% got internship offers.

Infrastructure: There are different types of facilities available in my college. There is a lab for every course in every department. Wi-Fi is available 24/7. Mess food is above average. It can be improved. Many sports facilities are available in my college. Every piece of equipment required is provided to the students. In our college, the library is the second-largest in Asia.

Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified and very helpful. The course curriculum is very relevant. It makes the student industry-ready. There are two types of exams in our college - one is the mid-term exam and the other one is the end-term examination. The mid and end-term exams are not so difficult. Students can easily pass the examinations if they follow the teacher and read wisely. The pass percentage is 90+.

Other: I chose the course because I like Physics so much. One thing that is best about my course is there is so much practical knowledge about it. There are many types of fests conducted in my college. One of the most famous fests is SRIJAN - the biggest cultural fest. It is organized in March. Another one is Concetto.

Nostalgic NIT Jamshedpur.

Placements: Around 60%-70% of my college students were placed. The highest placement was provided by Rubrik, followed by Atlassian, Adobe, Amazon, Flipkart, Arcessium, etc. Talking about internships 40 to 45 of our batch students got internship opportunities under different companies.

Infrastructure: Our college provides LAN connection with a good speed of internet connectivity. Recently, Wi-Fi was also been added. It has central library with most of the teaching-related resources. In our hostel, all other facilities were fine except for the water facility. I hope by the time I am writing this, the issue have sorted.

Faculty: Faculty members are quite knowledgeable and qualified but not very helpful. Most of them are rude and egoistic with students, especially during examinations and when discussing report marks. They do not show any concern. If anyone relies on the college curriculum for job-related preparation, they will end up with no placement since the curriculum is not updated and well-structured.

my college is not good but not bad

Placements: Around 85 - 90% of students from the CSE department are typically placed. The highest package offered in recent years has been approximately 86 LPA (varies yearly). Lowest package is usually around 6-7 LPA. The average package for CSE students tends to be in the range of 12-15 LPA. Major recruiters include companies like Amazon, Tata Consultancy Services, Adobe, Atlassian. Around 60-70% of students secure internships during their course.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of my course and hostel is average. In my college comparison to boys hostel girls hostel is not good and there are 3 floors only and worst situation is that one room shared with 2 more girls. There is a three sitter room so this thing is not good.

Faculty: Faculty of NIT Jamshedpur is not good. The professor do not have any teaching skill and do not understand the student's situation. Exam course is so so but faculty always want i think they always search a path on how can back the student in the examination but not all.

Other: Event are good. In my college held many events are held and we all enjoy this events. They held many type of event like culfest ,ojjas, urja ,adveya, invikta and many others. All fest area are celebrated like sports, cultural, technical.

Welcome to nit jamshedpur

Placements: Placement records of nit jamshedpur are very good. Highest package goes upto 83 lpa. 99 percent of students from CSE, electrical and ece branches get placed. Mechanical has 100 percent placement records. Similar is percent for other branches. Average package is 27-30 lpa. Many top companies come here. Like atlassian, ibm, microsoft....many students get internship here as well. Software Engineers are the top roles offered in cse.

Infrastructure: All the necessary facilities and infrastructure are available here. WiFi is available at Library, lecture halls, hostels as well. Labs are there and lab classes are also held in department offices. These lab rooms are AC equipped. Library is available for studying and borrowing books. Hostel also has necessary facilities. Mess food is full of variety. Dispensary is available all the time. Sports and game equipment are also there. Courts for each sports are there.

Faculty: The professors are well qualified and most of them are friendly and helpful. Teaching quality is good too. Course curriculum is super relevant. Yeah they make us placement ready. Semester exams are fine too if u pay attention in class. Pass percentage is like 7 in 30 in mid semester and around 15 in 50 in end semester.

Other: This course I chose is related to my passion and also it's the very demanding course at present. Tech people have very high scope in the market. Placement records of this course are also excellent. Professors here are good in this course. There are variety of events going on the campus all through the year. There are cultural fests, technical fests and sports fests every year. Society fest are also there. Campus is good overall. Campus is well crowded with students from all courses. Scholarship are available based on caste and income. There are plenty of clubs and extracurricular activities keep going.

good and peaceful NIT jamshedpur

Placements: Good placements are being offered to the students here and they are getting increased year by year. Highest package is 50 LPA and the lowest package is 4 LPA and the medium is 12 LPA in our college, The top companies which comes to the placement are Google and Microsoft. Internships are given to the students every year and the management helps students in getting their internships. The percentage of students who get placements is 85 percent and internships are given to 95 percentage of students in different years.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the course is good and labs are great and we also have wifi classrooms and hostels with good well stocked library but the hostels are not that great and they should be improved and renovated. Coming to the mess food, the food here is hygienic but not tasty. Taste should be improved and mess should be renovated. Canteen is good and have all types of food. There is a medical center with basic staff in it in campus and campus have all sports grounds and courts open for all students in campus.

Faculty: Faculty explains and clears doubts in the class. They should also help students in their chambers but they often don't do that. Coming to their qualification all are well educated and hold a PHD degree in their own subjects. Course structure is designed by all faculties in charge and its well designed to help students in their academics. The semester exams here are not that hard and students can easily clear them without any problem. The minimum pass percentage is 5 CGPA and course structure makes students almost industry ready.

Other: CSE have better placements compared to all other courses. This is the main reason why i took this course and number of exams which are being conducted can be reduced in the course structure. We have around 3 fests every year and good campus with pleasant surroundings and worst part is campus is situated far away from the city. This is disadvantage for the campus. Coming to the scholarships they are provided to students who perform well in academics. College have all extra curricular activities inside the campus.

I think there is a tough chance of getting NIT Jamshedpur, But I will say, go till the last round, If there is any chance of lower NITs then you will get that.

Firstly you are Eligible For the JEE mains Exam. Through JEE mains Rank/Percentile You got the different NIT's. Now If you get any percentile above 95 or RANK under AIR 9500 you are able to get into the NIT's with computer science Branch. Although Cutoff is something which changes year per year But
