NIT Manipur BTech Eligibility & Highlights 2025
BTech at NIT Manipur is offered as a four-year programme divided into eight semesters. The course is available in five specialisations, namely Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication, Electrical, etc. NIT Manipur BTech admission is offered through JEE Main entrance exam followed by Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) counselling. NIT Manipur releases its cutoff based on seat availability in different streams of the BTech programme.
Interested candidates should complete the eligibility criteria of a passing grade in Class 12 with Physics, Mathematics, and any one subject among Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational Subject with at least 75% aggregate.

NIT Manipur BTech Admission 2025: How to Apply?
NIT Manipur BTech admission process begins with registration for JEE Main. Candidates are required to qualify JEE Main to become eligible for BTech admission. Below are the step-wise admission details for NIT Manipur BTech:
STEP 1: NIT Manipur BTech Application Process 2025
To apply for BTech at NIT Manipur, students are required to apply via JEE Main. The process of application for JEE Main 2025 consists of three steps, i.e., registration, form filling & document upload, followed by payment of application fees. For its flagship BTech programme, NIT Manipur shortlists candidates with a valid JEE Main score. Candidates are allotted seats through JoSAA Counselling. JoSAA releases the cutoff for the BTech course after the release of JEE Main result.
STEP 3: Counselling & Admission Confirmation
Once the cutoff is released, candidates must register for JoSAA Counselling and provide their choices. Seats left after JoSAA Counselling are filled through CSAB Counselling.
