NIT Meghalaya's MTech application process is done through the GATE application process. Candidates need to visit the official website of GATE. The process of applying includes registration, filling out the online application form, uploading the required documents, and payment of the application fee. The GATE 2025 application fee is INR 1800 (without a late fee) and INR 2300 (with a late fee).

As per the NIT Meghalaya M.Tech cutoff 2023, the last round closing rank for M.Tech ranged between 356 and 424, among which CSE was the most competitive specialisation. For a few of the M.Tech sepcialisations, the cutoff stands closed after Round 1, 2 and 3. As per the last year cutoff data, the minimum GATE cutoff for NIT Meghalaya was 356 for M.Tech in CSE.

NIT Meghalaya offers a full-time two-year MTech programme in five different engineering disciplines, which are Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Civil Engineering. To be eligible for admission to the M.Tech programme at NIT Meghalaya, candidates must have a valid GATE score. 

The total tuition fee for the MTech programme at NIT Meghalaya is INR 69,500- INR 3.8 lakh, The fee structure mentioned doesn’t include hostel fee. Further, the fee structure is for general category. Total fee is calculated based on annual/ semester fee available for the academic year, hence is indicative.
